âShit! Iâm gonna be late!â You panted as you ran down the street to catch the bus to your latest press conference. You were a journalist working for a local NPR news station from your hometown, and today was your first big gig: you were to attend a press conference for the Personification of the United States of America.
Most recently, the presidential election happened and a notorious wealthy figurehead had won a â yooj victory.â as the leader of the now not so free country.
You often wondered what kind of guy Mr. America was like⌠you had quite a few harsh words for him, thatâs for a fact. You were fed up with news networks twisting stories to fear monger or mislead all for ratings from people who donât even have the reading comprehension of a fifth grader! You were outraged! This was truly the death to journalistic integrity happening before you. But you would never have that! Since you were young, you were determined to find the truth whether it meant getting your hands dirty. You had always been inquisitive, and often times agitated authority figures with your questions. That never stopped you. Nothing could and certainly not Mr. U.S of A..
âWhoa!â You exclaimed before nearly falling face first from the buses boarding step to the pavement. In all your thoughts, you had forgotten you were currently supposed to be paying attention to your surroundings, and tripped over your two left feet like a nimrod.
You brace for the painful kiss full of pavement but are shocked to feel a strong arm catch you with ease instead. Turning to face your savior from humiliation, you notice two beautiful pools of hidden oceans behind a pair of wire framed glasses. A smile adorning his boyish features, before he spoke with boisterous energy.
âAlright! I totally saved you!â He laughed with a light rosy tint dusting his cheeks. Your own face mirroring his as you looked at the handsome man who caught you, he was average height with a muscular build with soft sandy blonde hair, sparkling blue eyes and a smile that would send anyone to war for him. His energy radiated pure warmth.
âThank you.â You spoke softly while flushed.
âHahaha! The hero is always here to help! So what brings you to D.C?â He asks with a smile.
âOh I work for my local NPR news radio. Iâm here to interview Mr. America regarding this past election.â You grinned.
The man suddenly got quiet, something shifted in his eyes but his smile did not falter. You did notice how it no longer reached his eyes though..
âNo problem! Iâll lead ya to him! So whatâs your name?â
âUhh ___.â You blurted sheepishly.
He said your name as if he was testing how he liked how voice sounded when he said your name. He smiled satisfied before looking to you again. âOkay, ___! Iâll take you to Mr. America myself. He and I are.. very close.â He grinned.
Your eyes widened âreally? Whatâs he like?â You asked with hopeful eyes.
The man was so happy to go on about himself. âWell I donât wanna give too much away⌠but if you insist! Heâs tall, strong, handsome, very attractive with all genders.â He smirked and waggled his brows at you while cupping his chin and biting his lip. You couldnât help but snicker âhe sounds popular.â
âHe sure is! Heâs also funny, and smart, and easy tot all to, or so Iâve heard.â He went on while walking with you, an arm around your shoulder. You listened with interest, your expressions reacting to anything he said, and he was eating this up.
He could pretend to be a normal guy on a stroll with someone he found attractive. He only hoped you thought he was cool too.
âWhat a blowhard!â You laughed.
His heart sank âw-what?â He asked sheepishly.
âI mean he seems cool and all, but after everything that has happened, he seems like heâd rather party and let loose while weâre all struggling. His news outlets are either using fear tactics to manipulate the masses, or fabricate news stories so they serve an agenda to protect the wealthy pricks who are using our politicians as ventriloquist dummies⌠he must feel really really let down and is just escaping by dopamine chasing. Just like all of us.â You chuckled bitterly.
He looked at you with a serious expression before you blinked and blushed.
âI mean! Oh god! Iâm sure heâs a great guy, and Iâm sure heâs doing what he can, but at the end of the day, heâs trying to get by like the rest of us.. he doesnât need to be such a try hard and mask the pain from us.. if anything out of anybody in DC, we would want to hear him speak on these matters..â you looked to him.
The man looked to you with a softened gaze before smiling and continuing on to the press conference.
This was going to be a long press conference. Entering the massive lobby of the White House before being led to the east room and into the crowded briefing room. Looking at the flashing cameras as journalists, news outlets, and reporters alike all swarmed the podium, demanding answers from an orange man and his elongated muskrat pet that hissed at the reporters who accused him of the most horrendous of crimes.
You felt your stomach grow queasy before the man beside you noticed how nervous you arm. âThis place makes me uneasy too⌠Were gonna do great.â He winked and smiled at you. Your face flushed before you blinked up at him.
âWait.. we?â You croaked out.
He chuckled and looked at you teasingly âuh duh! Who do you think youâre interviewing, ___?â He grinned before shaking your hand.
âI promise Iâm not as bad as the others draw me.â He spoke with confidence, but something about his smile and eyes reflected a need of approval. Your approval.
You are too shocked to say anything, but when he takes your hand in his, giving it a firm shake, you both canât help but feel this spark between you. before he breaks away to head to the stage for his turn to be ripped apart by press, he places a VIP pass into your hand. âDonât lose that, ___. I wanna talk to you again. Maybe over lunch?â He grinned at you.
You blushed and smiled before nodding âI think Iâd like that, Mr. America.â
He winks as you again before turning to the door cracking his neck and taking deep breath. âShow time.â He mutters to himself before putting on a loud and boisterous persona for the group of reporters. She noticed how he was funny and charming with the crowd, interacting with them with such ease and casual friendliness, it really was a heartwarming scene, once down to business and asked hard hitting questions, he answered those like second nature, then again, this is a being who lived through the many president, and despite his youthful appearance, he carried himself like a man who was trained to respond to all press conferences questions. He answered honestly, yet not too honestly. As if concealing something he was afraid heâd be punished for sharing.
He also didnât like the idea of the crowd turning on him, so he had mastered the way of political showmanship and press appeal.
You were amazed by his confidence and candid grins. But also deeply concerned for him.
He said it himself⌠this is showtime. Did he feel the need to perform for the sake of silently bearing the burden of his collapsing democracy? Did he feel like he needed to assure us that we will be fine, when even he wasnât too sure himself? You wanted to know what drove him.
âWhy do you do it?â You ask him while sitting in a booth at a diner near where the conference was. About 2 hours passed, and the two of you decided to get burgers at a niche hole in the wall diner that was owned by a family who had been there for over 65 years! America swore up and down that they made the âbest freaking burgers on this side of the east coast!â Or so he said.
He looked at you while his mouth was stuffed full of his burger. His eyes looked up at you kind of like a puppy that got caught eating something it shouldnât. You made a mental note about how cute he looked.
He swallowed his food before sipping his Diet Coke. âWhat do you mean?â He asked.
âCome on, man. Donât play coy. You know what I mean.â The pair of you exchanged looks before America leans in with a puzzled âokay is this where Iâm supposed to know something? Cuz I seriously have no idea what youâre saying bruh.â He blinks.
You sighed âyou know! The guy I met at the bus stop and the man on that podium are seriously the same dude? Youâre so-â
âAnimated?â He quirked brow.
âYeah! That! Youâre very animated and able to answer all those rapid fire questions with ease. And without blinking! Most seasoned politicians fold under that type of scrutiny. But you? You roll with it and make the crowd smile. How?â You asked with such eagerness your eyes sparkled with excitement.
America blinks and looks at you before smiling a genuine smile before chuckling âto tell you the truth.. Iâm not sure. I want to say something big and heroic, but-â
âAyyy Freddy! Howâs it going you old dog you!â A voice chimes in as a big man in a greasy apron grins ear to ear at America. The blonde in turn smiled with eyes as bright as the sun before he greets his old friend.
âItâs been a while Carl! You look great.â Al saluted the man in the apron who in turn saluted him back. âThank you, Sargent Jones!â He bellowed while saluting before the men laughed together. âIâm sorry, am I interrupting your date? Quite the looker.â He playfully winked at you to which you smiled politely at the man before chuckling.
Alfred halfheartedly scolded the man âat ease, this oneâs not on the menu.â
âSpeaking of the menu, the burgers here are to die form thank you for the food.â You thanked politely with a sweet grin.
âAnything but the best for a face like that, and itâs nice to see this oneâs ugly mug sometimes.â Carl chuckled motioning to America.
âWhy youâŚâ America playfully threatened. Carl laughed before bidding you two farewell.
âSargent?â You asked with an intrigued smile while sipping your drink.
America chuckled and scratched the back of his neck sheepishly. âWell.. yeah I was in the Air Force a long long time ago.. Carl was a first class airman and I was his Master Sargent. He was a rowdy kid back then. I come here cuz he told us after the war that he wanted to start his own business and now he owns this diner.â He smiled. You smile as he grins at his long time friend.
âThatâs living the true American dream if Iâve seen it.â You remarked with a genuine smile.
âThats why I do it.â He counters
âThatâs why I act like how I do when the press gets involved.. I know that things are not ideal, and Iâm aware of the severity of it all, but I know my people.. if they keep looking for the good in this world, then all the evil that my boss is spreading will be nothing⌠I act like that, because I want you guys to know that no matter what, we will come out of this shit show on top. I know we will. Thereâs always hope for us we just gotta keep fighting for the truth.. I believe we can do anything.â!He smiled down at his soda, the caramel coloring reflecting his face.
You smile before looking at him âI believe in us too.â You admit.
His eyes shot up to yours, looking at you with rosy cheeks and shimmering blue orbs, as if the weight of the world had shifted from his shoulders, falling onto the ground. Was he really this invested in earning your favor?
âSo what about you?â He asked while eating a French fry.
âWhat about me?â You gave him an inquisitive look, your grin never leaving your lips.
âWhat made you get into journalism?â He asked while chewing on the crinkle cut fry. His oceanic orbs locked onto your own hues, waiting patiently for your answer.
You blinked before perusing your lips, feeling yourself having trouble answering this question. âYou know something, nobody has ever asked me that..â you admitted with a chuckle.
America snickered âwait seriously?â
âYeah dude. Up until now, nobody has ever asked me why I got into journalism⌠well, I guess if I had to pick why, I would have too many to list off right now.. to put it into words, I like writing and trying to restore journalistic integrityâ You shrugged.
America gave you a loo to said he wasnât satisfied with your answer. âNope.â
âNope? What do you mean nope?â You chortled incredulously.
âI mean nope. I am not accepting that answer. I need you to elaborate more for me.. over dinner maybe Friday at 8?â He smirked.
You blushed and laughed âMr. America-â
âAlfred. Call me Alfred.. please.â He gently requested.
âAlfred, was this your way of asking me out on a date?â You quirked a brown with a smirk.
Alfred made a playful thinking face before folding his hands together in front of his mouth. âMaybe~â
You laughed more out of pure content with this man. He sure was something! He was funny, thoughtful, caring, and intelligent.
A remarkable young nation indeed.
âWell, it worked. Iâll see you Friday at 8 pm.â You agreed before writing your number down on a napkin for him to take.
âItâs a date, babe.â He winked with a confident grin and the slightest blush on his face.
Once the the check Alfred was insisting on paying was paid, you two went your separate ways, both eager for that coming Friday.
đđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
âSo then he tells me he canât find the control panel and I say âyou mean this one here? You bungalow?â Alfred recounts an anecdote from one of his Air Force days.
You laugh as he cracks more impressions of his superior when he first started, always wiping a tear from his eyes while laughing. Alfred chose a much more intimate setting than the local diner for this date, the lights were dimmed as the pair of you drank wine and chatted about life, and different things the two of you experienced.
He looked at you with a glow in his eyes. You were more than words could ever comprehend or express. Your smile made him feel at ease and your laugh was like a choir of angels singing. His heart fluttered a light in his chest as he watched the way you treated people with such grace and respect. Your kind eyes shimmered in the dim light, like speaking mysterious pools he wanted to dive deeper into. He found you fascinating.
âSo I look to Chad, the radio host and he doesnât realize heâs still on the air when heâs telling me about how he plans on proposing to his girlfriend.. two minutes later, his wife calls us looking to chat with him about his âgirlfriend.â The pair laugh together.
âOpe!â Alfred busted out laughing.
âOh god I canât remember the last time I laughed this hard..â Alfred admitted while smiling.
âMe neither..â you confirmed while looking at him with a warm gaze..
âYou never told me why journalism..â Alfred reminded her with a knowing grin.
You playfully rolled your eyes âfine if you insist..â you sighed dramatically causing him to snort.
âI want to fight to make sure the truth is what we are receiving in our news outlets. I want to report the facts, not make up bogus stories and serve it as alternative facts for clout.â You spoke with such dedication as you eyes flashed a determined glimmer.
His eyes widened with awe at your focused yet thoughtful gaze.
âI want to help the people of our country understand that freedom of press is not dead and that the truth is legal for us to know no matter whoâs in office or how much hush money heâs paid out.â You smiled.
âThat is.. incredible. I dunno what to say.. I uhh⌠boy youâre re really something, you know? Dude! Youâve left me speechless. Thatâs never happened.â Alfred chuckled.
You blushed bright red as the pair of you share smiles. âWow I feel so accomplished.â You chuckled.
âYou should cuz now I really wanna see you again.â Alfred smirked. âYou down?â
Your gaze shifts to his before you agree to go in another date with him, this time, deciding to do something fun. The next weekend you two see each other, the two of you attend a carnival, riding all the rides, and playing all the different games in the stalls. Alfred watches as a child was playing one of those rigged carnie games.
âAww man! That was my last dollar..â the kid pouts defeated.
The sleazy carnie chuckles âsorry, twerp! Thatâs just how life works.. Now scram! I got customers!â He bellowed.
Alfred stopped, seeing the little boy cry as the carnie yelled at him to move it or lose it. His blood boiled seeing such a greedy prick screw over that kid for his last dollar. He stooped to the kids eye level and gently spoke with him âhey lil bro. Did that mean ole carnie take your money?â He asked.
The kid sniffled âuh huh..â
Alfred smiled âthought so. Wait here with my, ____.â He grinned before walking off âbe right back babe, the hero has a smile to save.â He winked at you.
You blushed but playfully rolled your eyes as you sat with the little boy, whose name you learned was Tommy. All the while, your head couldnât stop replaying how he called you his ___.
You watched as Alfred easily beat the carnival game, knocking down the targets that were clearly glued up right to the stand so they wouldnât fall.
The carnie gulped nervously wringing his hands as Alfred practically exposed his dodgy operation.
Alfred looked to Tommy and smiled âpick a prize lil bro.â Tommyâs eyes lit up like a Christmas tree before he went and grabbed the giant green dinosaur plushie that seemed to be much bigger than his whole body.
âWow! Thanks mister!â He grinned happily.
âAnytime, lil bro remember, heroes always help those in need.â Alfred smiled causing Tommy to grin ear form ear âI wanna be a hero too! Just like you, mister!â He squealed happily before rushing off to his mother. The woman gave Alfred a thankful smile.
Alfred bowed his head in respect to Tommyâs mother before smiling and walking with you. His gaze then shifted to you.
âShall we?â He held out his arm to you, which you took without hesitation. A warm smile adorning your features. âWe shall.â
As the date progressed the sun started to set over the horizon, casting a golden light over the rides and stalls. Alfred couldnât help but notice how ethereal you looked in this light. He grinned at you to which you looked up at him âwhatâs up?â You asked causing Alfred to blush and chuckle before scratching the back of his neck shyly. âUhh nothing.. I was just thinking we should go on the Ferris wheel. The lights of the city look amazing from way up there..â he blushed. You smiled up at him thinking about how cute he is when he blushes âsure!â Your sweet voice chirped before the two of you ventured to the Ferris wheel for the best view of the whole city. Once at the top of the Ferris wheel, you looked out to the glowing lights below. The world lit up like a sea of lighters as you two sat in your shared pod. Alfred looked out at it all with a more serious smile on his face. âIsnât that a beautiful sight?â He asked. You werenât really paying attention to the string around you.. all you could see was him. His eyes and how they shimmered in the lights, his hair and how is tousled softly in the gentle breeze, his smile and how it held years of wisdom yet a youthful glow. You felt your face flush red as you smiled at him once more. âIt sure isâŚâ you agreed.
âThis is what I fight for..â he spoke sincerely.
You looked to him listening to him intently
âI fight for nights where the people have carefree nights of laughter, beholding the sights around them.. and sharing those moments with a loved one.â He smiled at you.
Your face felt warmth creeping onto your cheeks as you returned his gentle smile. âThatâs why we gotta keep working as hard as we do, right?â You grinned placing a hand over his. He turned his palm over so his larger hand could hold yours properly.
âI need you to promise me somethingâŚâ Alfred spoke with such tenderness that seemed so new. Little did you know, heâd reserve this side of him for you and you alone.
âAnything.â You smiled at him.
âPromise me that no matter how bad or scary things get⌠you and I will always be there for each other, and weâll have more moments like this together.â Alfred gazed deeply into your eyes.
You chuckled and blushed âthatâs two promisesâ you lightly teased.
âYou said anything.â Alfred teased back with a grin. He was right, you did say anything.
Your eyes searched his for a moment, looking for any sign of insincerity or dishonesty. You only found hope and adoration. Your own eyes reflected his like a mirror before you intertwined your fingers with his.
âI promise.â You spoke genuinely form the heart. Alfred sighed in relief before the two of you watched the sunset and the stars in the night sky meet in a beautiful mix of colors. Now being so high up, the sky seemed so much bigger, and the transition from dusk to night time was painted far more beautifully.
Alfredâs eyes wandered to yours as you both moved closer to each other in the pod, you arm wrapped around his bicep as you leaned your head on his shoulder, causing his heart rate to quicken before he pulled you into his side as he leaned his head on top of yours, cuddling in the booth.
âSo when were you gonna plan on telling me that Iâm your ___?â You asked with a cheeky grin.
Alfred blushed and chuckled shyly âoh y-yeah you heard that?â He asked. You nodded before the two of you shared a soft breath of laughter together. Your eyes met briefly before you continued to lay your head on his shoulder, in turn her held you closer to him, his own head on the top of your heads. He breathed into your scent of shampoo and whatever body spray you were wearing.. it was your scent, and he wanted more of it.
âYou know.. the past couple of dates have been so amazing.. I wouldnât mind if you called me your ___â You replied smoothly making Alfred practically choke on the air he was breathing. âR-really?â
âMmhmm.â You hummed in response, closing your eyes as you listened to his erratic heart rate.
He swallowed hard. He really really liked you.. a lot. More than he probably should like you. But he couldnât help it when you were so kind and down to earth, yet so fierce and determined⌠Any guy would be lucky to have you and somehow, somebody as magical as you, wanted to waste your time with him.. he felt so lucky.
âIt wonât last long.. you know how dicey these sort of affairs can be. Falling for a human is never easy.â He remembered his older brother, the personification of Englands words ring through his memory as he remembered his friends and crushes who passed away⌠The day that his brother said those words to him, little Alfred was standing next to his long time friend Davies casket at the manâs funeral⌠he never forgot how sad he was when he learned that Davie was not in fact sleeping, and that he was never going to see his friend again⌠Was he really going to go through that pain again?
He would have to really think about his situation at some point, but for now, you were his.
A week passed since that date at the carnival, and today, Alfred was pulled into his bosses office. The orange man in question looking less than satisfied with the young nation.
âSit down, Jones.â He ordered with a slight slur to his speech. Alfred did as he was ordered to and sat down before the president. The small orange hands with sickly yellow nails sat folded over the desk as he scowled at Alfred.
âIâm not happy Jones⌠not happy.â He scowled.
âWhy sir?â Alfred asked sounding exasperated.
âIt appears youâre⌠distracted.â He then pushed a button on a remote on his desk, displaying monitors that began playing the recon dates with you.
Alfredâs blood ran cold. âHow did you-â
âThose new glasses Bayran gave you? The ones with the camera?â He chuckled wickedly at Alfred who looked at the monitors in horror.
âTheyâre a cute little thing arenât they? Itâd be a real shame if something horrible happened to them.. now wouldnât it Mr. Jones?â He laughed.
âNo you canât!â Alfred protested.
âTry me. I will do whatever it takes to keep you under my rule. Including eliminating any and all potential threats to our government.â The president smirked.
âIf anything happens to them the world will know.â Alfred warned.
His boss smirked and laughed more before speaking in a condescending tone âyou really think you can intimidate me, Jones? Iâm the greatest in the world and Iâm why you are great again. I made you!â
âGreat? You think that our people starving because food stamps are being denied is great? You think that killing my people who oppose you in broad daylight is making me great? You think that starting a war to cover your ass about that creepy guy you were super close with is great? My people deserve the truth! They deserve to know who you are and what youâve done and thereâs no amount of money of empty threats you could possibly make that will stop them from finding the truth themselves!â Alfred boomed angrily finally snapping.
His boss made an ugly noise before speaking once more âif any of those morons oppose me, they deserve death! And why should I care if poor people starve? Thats there problem! They should get a job!â He defended his disgusting policies.
Alfredâs eye twitched before he removed his glasses from his face âhey boss! Hereâs and idea.â Alfred starts before snapping the glasses in half, effectively breaking them and the camera inside. âHow about you totally go fuck yourself with your own foot? Iâm sure itâll fit up that giant fucking asshole of yours.â Alfred smirked.
âOh and by the way I saw your recent press stunt about certain files being disclosed and how you started a war to distract people, which by the way, Iâm fucking broke cuz of you, so fuck you for that too! Also everyone belongs here! Everyone deserves to be happy here not just the people who you like! The only person who seems to be a threat to our democracy is you, you god damn piece of shit!â Alfred shouted.
His boss scowled before sighing âyou better watch yourself, Jones.. I could make everyone you love disappear.â He warned.
Alfred heart clenched. He knew this was a potential problem.. no matter his feelings for you, the very idea that you could be taken from him tore him apart.. in the short time you two spent, he grew attached to you.
He hated to do it but he knew what he had to do.
Upon retrospect, he was hoping you would follow him that way you did.
âHey Mr. America. How was your mee-â he brushed past her like her didnât hear her. H just walked right through you.
You felt a chill run up your spine as he looked at you with an empty gaze. His eyes gave an unfamiliar glimmer to you. Like youâre just a stranger.
âM-Mr. America?â You stammered confused with wide eyes.
This only further made his heart throb with despair as he looked at you. He quickly turned away and briskly walked off.
You felt your legs move on their own as you followed after him down the busy street.
You called after him confused and yet your voice fell on deaf ears.
Your chest welled with anguish as you continued to go after him.
âQuit following me!!â He suddenly shouted at you you could see the tears in his eyes.
Your own orbs filled with tears âwh-what?
âYou heard me! Stop following me I donât want to be around anymore..â the last part was said in an uncertain tone.
You stood there frozen and dumbfounded as tears welled up in your eyes, blurring your vision as they spilled down your face.
Without another word, Alfred quickly turned away and began speed walking so not to see your broken expression. He knew that if he looked at you, heâd be a goner just like the day you met.
You didnât quit though. Every nerve in your body called to him. Even though he hurt you, you wanted comfort from him.
âMr. America! Wait!!â You desperately called to him as the blonde stormed off in the rain. A frown on his face as he walked through blinding sheets of rain. Your legs shook as they ran as fast as they could carry you down the street after him while your lungs burned with the crisp fall air. He did not cease his quick pace, and while it hurt him to do it, he had to leave you behind and forget you. The sooner the better.
His heart ached every time you called his name, how could he just leave you so heartbroken? Why did your tears make him wanna die? if only he could know death⌠He just didnât get it! How could you be the one thing tethering him to his people rather than isolating him? Why did his heart race when you smiled, talked, breathed, looked at him? He couldnât understand any of this, he didnât understand why you had this hold on him.
In the past, he had no problem keeping people at arms length so not to get too attached to people who will one day leave him.. forever. His heart couldnât bare the thought of losing you, and if it was because of his shitty boss, heâd never forgive himself.
âPlease!!â You cried out sobbing only for Alfred to stop dead in his tracks frozen.
You sniffled and, sobbed loudly on your knees, legs now finally giving out beneath you from running. Hyperventilating, you sobbed and hiccuped as you looked at the man before you with stormy eyes.
âPlease.. why are you avoiding me? Did I- are you mad at me?â She asked in between broken sobs.
Alfredâs eyes welled up as he heard your heartbreaking question.
Idiot.. he was an idiot. He broke your heart heâs the worst. How could he crush your precious heart?
âI never want to make you upset.. I never want to cause you trouble.. Iâm sorry for everything I wonât bother you anymore.. just please tell me why youâre acting so cold right now..â you cried. âPlease.. Alfred.â
Thatâs when it hit him, why else would he let you call him by his human name? Why else would he want to always be around you? Why else would you make space for each other and time for one another? Why would you dream big side by side?
He was madly in love with you.
The minute his name left your lips, he turned to face you as you broke down crying in front of him. His own eyes filled with tears as he rushed to your side on the ground, throwing his arms around your form as you both cried.
Your eyes widen as you sat with him
Clinging to you in the as he cried into your hair.
âYou have no idea.. do you?â Alfred muttered in between sobs âyou made me the happiest I have ever been in a very very long time. Your laugh your smile, your eyes, your hair, every single part of you makes me crazy.. I canât afford to lose you.. I have had to bury loved ones before.. Davie and one day Carl will go too.. I canât lose you. Iâm not strong enough.. Iâm not..â he sobbed as listened quietly to his confession.
âI am so in love with you⌠I want to save this world with you by my side.. I want to save my people with you at my side.. I love you..â Alfred confessed as he cried.
âI love you... And I canât lose you because of that monsterâŚâ Alfred muttered into your hair as his muscular arms held you tightly while he cried softly. You in turn, wrapped your arms around him, reciprocating his warm embrace, as the rain fell around you two, visibility low, shielding you both from the world in your own beautiful storm.. you breathed in the scent of his bomber jacket, fuel, worn leather, the faintest trace of olde spice, and of course, chargrill from the burgers he ate.. you grew to love his scent, and he grew to love yours.
You pull away while still in each otherâs arms to gaze into his oceanic orbs, oceans couldnât light a candle to the never ending tide that was his azure blues.
âAlfredâŚ. You fucking nerd. I love you so much. I donât care what the rest of the world says, or what you boss says, I wanna be with you. I wanna see you become the hero I know you can be.â You smiled lovingly before leaning your forehead against his as the rain made your hair stick to your forehead. His ever gravity defying cowlick was the only thing not weighed down by the rain.
You cupped his face before he roughly crashed his lips into yours. It was your first of many many kisses, it was hard, messy, passionate, yet everything you had wanted it to be because it was truly the epitome of the deep love you two shared.
You never wanted the world, but here he was, wanting to give it to you.
You never wanted to take too much space, so Alfred made space for you..
You never had to ask, Alfred just did those things..
The pair of you pulled away for a breath of air before smiling, flush faced and giggling like two teens, madly in love before getting up off the cold pavement and rushing off to his apartment. Once the door was clicked shut and locked, you continued your passionate moment, diving back into each other for more while your legs wrap around his waist as his lips find their way to yours again, heat rose between you two made your way to his bedroom door, making sure to leave a sock on the knob so Toni doesnât walk in by mistake.
The world seemed to fade away when you two were together. But something wasnât rightâŚ
You noticed Alfred wasnât wearing his glasses and had to wonder whyâŚ
đđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
The dim light of his room and the black out curtains shielding them from the outside world, became their newfound safe haven.. that and his sheets. Clothes were removed piece by piece and as flushed skin made its debut for the first time to each other, hands and lips wandered, worshipping each others form. Breathless moans and gasps filled the air as you kissed, licked and sucked on each others flesh.
âMmm~â you hummed I ecstasy as Alfred head played between your thighs as he lapped away at your sex hungrily while you writhed beneath him, moaning breathlessly as his tongue worked you skillfully.
âOhh god Alfred~â you panted as he kissed up your body before capturing your lips in another heated kiss. Your tongue savoring each others taste. As his hands positions his hardened cock between your legs, sliding slowly into you, as you moan and whimper while he kisses the tears off your face.
âShhh itâs okay, baby~ god youâre so perfect taking me so fucking nicely~â Alfred groans into your ear as he slowly thrusts his length deep inside you. Once heâs fully sheathed inside you, the pain slowly drifts pleasure before he begins to that at a quicker pace, making sure to keep his eyes on your every expression. His lips capture yours in heated kisses as he leans down to put you in a mating press, drilling his hips deep inside you while you moan and gasp for him. âA-Alfred~ ohh fuck yes please harder, baby~â you whine in pure bliss.
Alfred feels a surge of cockiness flood him at the sound of his name being said in such a lewd way. You could have anyone drill their cock inside you yet his name spilling from his lips made him want to claim you for himself.
He planned on filling you to the brim with his seed.
âOh fuck~ youâre mine baby~ all mine~ mine to fold into such pretty positions while I fuck you sensless~ god I canât stop~â Alfred growled into the flesh of her neck. He could feel her pulse against his teeth.

You moaned out his name as you released all over his length. Coating him with your hot love juices.
The pair of you now rendered breathless as he pulled you to his chest. âI need more of you. Let me make it up to you for fucking you like I donât love you~â Alfred requested while trailing his lips from your own to your cheek then to your neck and jawlines
âMm Alfie~ but I love when you do those dirty things to me~â you admits while blushing crimsons
âOh no donât tell me that.. cuz now-â he then flipped you onto your back.
âI may stuff you full of my cock again~â Alfred hailed before you pull him in for passionate kiss.
The pair lay like that, and from then on, Alfred would meet you up in various secret locations so not to cause a public disturbance. If his boss found out he was with you still, he knew what that would mean.
For now, they belonged to each other and their shared bed.
âAlfred.. what happened to your glasses?â
Alfred gulped before speaking âso Bayran gave them to me, and they had a camera and recording drive built in.. I didnât want to risk you being recorded any further than what my boss had received, so-â
âI was being recorded?â You asked, shocked.
His blood ran cold before he nodded âyes.. I promise you I had no idea about any of this!â Alfred swore. You believed him, he was brash and loud but definitely not the type to wear pervert glasses.
âAnd your boss know about me because of the glasses?â You deduced almost instantly.
âYeah they have access to Bayran footagesâŚ. They hacked into mine and watched us. He called me into his office and told me to never see you again. So I broke the glasses⌠I donât ever want anything bad to happen to you.. I only want to protect you.â Alfred spoke softly as he pulled your bare form closer to him. âI never wanted to get closer to you.. I donât get to grow old like you do.. but you are so beyond anything I could have ever imagined, I had to have you to myself. The thought of you laying in another persons arms killed me, the thought never seeing your smile or hearing your voice again killed me.. I want to be with you.â Alfred smiled lovingly at you. You cupped his face and kissed him lovingly while our fingers ran through his soft hair, carefully avoiding the cowlick on the top of his head.
Pulling away to looked deeply into his eyes, you smiled.
âYou will always be my hero, Alfred.â You spoke with such a tender tone it melted his heart and made him forget about his current situation with his boss.
âI promise.. I will protect with my life and love you like thereâs no tomorrow, ___. Until forever falls apart.â Alfred promised you before kissing the top of your head.
The night carried on and the two of you continued to kiss and caress each other with such tenderness, that it was almost as if you two were made for each other. Each sigh and drawn out moan egged him further to keep you breathlessly desperate for him and his love. God only knew how desperate he was for you and your love. It didnât help that you had such kissable lips and soft hands that made his skin tingle with excitement.
He knew what the day would bring which is why he never wanted that night to end. As he lay beside you, stroking your hair and whispering such loving words into your ear while you slept, he knew only one thing and one thing for sure.
He intended to keep every promise he made to you.
