How does/would Honeysuckle feel about hardbone hoppers?
Honeysuckle has never been out of Bilewater, but she often asks Crinum what cool critters he's seen on his treks out. She'd love the chance to meet a hardbone hopper, though she thinks riding one would be rather uncomfortable. So much hopping...
While this isn't an ask blog, I have been feeling the urge to do some ask-blog-like interactions for a limited duration. Here's your chance to ask my characters silly or serious questions, tell them what you think of them so you can see their reaction, give them random things, insert yourself or your character for a brief scene, and so on!
I will respond with sketches and dialogue/narration. And if I feel so inspired, maybe I'll do something more. Who knows what spark of inspiration will inspire some drabble or a higher effort illustration?
While my Silksong OCs are most recently on my mind, my entire menagerie is available for interacting. I'll list a bunch of them under the cut, but here's my toyhouse page where you can see them all.

Silksong:
Ensconce (they/them), longbug, is older than they act, collector of materials and unique objects, stupidly long but somehow manages to get around alright.
Trickle (he/him), silverfish, young adult, avid fan of Wyrms, naive, easily excitable, cinnamon roll.
Cici (she/her), silk snipper, every week or so she picks a new bug to have a crush on, coping poorly with her lot in life.
Maúl (he/they), silk poker, former undersweep, quiet, hard-working, processing their religious trauma after losing faith, generally content in life.
Crinum (he/she), stilkin trapper, studies soul stuff under Groal, ventures into Pharloom sometimes in disguise, gets migraines.
Honeysuckle (she/her), young stilkin, horsegirl, good with animals, likes working with squit steeds, is one of the few people who can pester Crinum without fear of retaliation.
Hollow Knight:
Cyra (she/her), wasp, feisty, irritable, passionate, defensive, friend of booflies.
Jerome (he/him), boofly, even-tempered, curious about bug society, is more of a person than most booflies, friend of Cyra.
Charon (he/him), beetle, serial killer, miner, calculating, deadly, charismatic.
Mossy Fool (he/him), moss knight, colosseum fighter, exiled from Greenpath, devoted to Unn, wants to be friends but is also a killer.
Koretta (she/her), great sentry of the City Guard, cheerful, trustworthy, very protective, caused the Marketplace Massacre.
Candy (she/her), nosk, grimmkin, sweet and cuddly and warm and loving and desperate for attention please don't leave candy please pet candy pet candy pet candy...
Phthalo (they/them), scorpion, guardian, sturdy and reliable, traveled to Hallownest to visit the snail mounds and meet some snails.
Rose (she/her), snail child, snild, adventurous, poor sense of caution, trusts Phthalo, selectively mute, likes making sounds with rocks and bone.
Misc:
Spinch (any pronouns), sometimes called a cat, crafty, not easy to trick, it can control its markings, it will bite you if you try to pet it.
Spur (he/she/they), space squirrel, inventive, excitable, very smart, frazzles under pressure, member of the Frostflower Tinkers Guild.
Hadda (she/her), space polar bear, reliable, level-headed, opportunistic punster, machinist, member of the Frostflower Tinkers Guild.
Jaundice (he/him), shapeshifter, default form is coyote-scorpion (term based off vibes rather than strict resemblance), bastard, likes to mess with people, eschews many social rules, has an interest in history.

Ask Suggestions!
Ask about how they'd react in specific scenarios (even if they're not canon/feasible if you want to be silly) ("What would your Silksong bugs think if they visited Hallownest?" to use an example of an ask that Flownet has already sent)
Ask what they think of another character (my own characters or yours [if I know them] or canon characters) ("If Cyra met Cloth, how would she feel? Would they get along?")
Threaten them or put them in a trap! [just, uhhh, please don't do bug spray or glue traps. i will not answer those]
Ask me about my intentions while creating/designing a character

no clue if ive uploaded this yet but if anyone was wondering how i do my slop ,, moot said it reminded them of paper crafts and honestly it does feel like that,, its like youre cutting into a paper w another paper a diff colour underneath. f that,, makes any sene,,
sometimes i just ""cut out" the entire shape and fill in w the colours instead of doing lineart
if you want to try it out you need to put the colour you want to use in the 2nd one and the first one needs to b your bg colour + transparent selection,, not sure if it works w windows 11 paint but you can just download the old one like i did
if you want to colour under the lineart use the right mouse button and the eraser brush. There are other paint techniques out there just search them up
also ik this is just a worse lasso tool, ive TRIED working w ibis paint lasso tool. its ASS! I Dont CARE! it doesnt WORK! i AM better than it, fuckFUCKfuckfuck

In hops Tylopelta gibbera, a small and sometimes deceptively complicated-patterned treehopper! It's hard to paint some of these insects because they have such variation in their coloration but I had go with the lighter, more visible patterns for this species because it's just so beautiful when you look closely. It's now up in my shop along with some restocks of two of the tiny lady beetle species!
