ARE HIGHER BEINGS AWARE OF EACH OTHER?
I keep thinking about this: do higher beings know of each other?
Obviously, if they reside in the same kingdom. The White Lady knows her husband (the Pale king), probably knows of Unn as she has claimed part of her gardens. And, of course, knows of Radiance.
But what of the higher beings, who originate not from Hallownest?
She know of Grimm (the Nightmare heart). This is her dialogue upon meeting the Grimmchild:
“Your companion's eyes burn with a familiar flame... Success then for the scarlet heart, and irony, to use my spawn to grow its own.
I know you creature, and the form time shall bring. You may be all and one, clan and master, but this land shall never bear so foreign a king.”
She knows how the Nightmare heart operates and can recognise its minion’s presence. Also “familiar lame”? Do you know this man, lady? 🤔
Now for Grimm. He doesn’t just know of PK and White Lady existence, he seems to know of the vessels and that they were created and discarded. But he seems to just arrived at the Kingdom after the Knights lights up the torch. Could be argued that he knows of everything because the troupe sent a bug to scout the kingdom beforehand. Still, I find his dialogue interesting, he calls PK “dear Wyrm”. Like do you know that man? 🤔
“Masterful! Even a vessel discarded bears fierce strength.
Fine craft dear Wyrm, and perfect tool to prolong the heart of Grimm.”
Now let’s go beyond Hallownest and arrive at Pharloom.
Grand Mother Silk knew about Pale king, because the Corral commandment from Hornet’s cage: m says:
“Full Chamber to the kingdom of the White Wyrm. Claim the Weaver, in half part. Last of their line. Sensed strong with Silk.
Resistance anticipated. Quell with rune cage.”
Cages in the Cradle do not have any mentions of any other higher beings, so she only seems to know of PK? Or PK is mentioned because he is the father of the weaver she is looking for, although how would she know that?
What I’m trying to understand in this lore rumblings post is: is there a pantheon (not the Pantheon of Hallownest curtesy of godseekers) where all higher beings exist, like a meeting place.
