I'm quite conflicted about whether I should post this and my early reads of June since they are not really enjoyable to me. But, I was really excited for them, so yeah.

In all honesty, this novella is really intriguing it's just that the way things happened and ended wasn't to my liking. It felt like it wasted the premise of the story 🙈.

I've quite read or started some older runs of these superheroes, and yes, they are quite so many essential reads that I'm still so confused about, which is which 🙈.

Safe to say, Absolute Universe can be read and start as it is alone (as far as I'm informed). It's definitely quite more thrilling, compelling, and grounding for me, probably because it's pretty new.

Third volumes of the Absolute Trinity is going to be out somewhere on September, October, and November this year ✨️. Really hope you check these new run out 🫶.

As you know, my journey of reading horror started from short stories last year, and I'm ashamed to say how fast I've abandoned them to read a full-length one 🙈.

Anyway, it was released early last month. I know, I know. It was pretty late of me to post my review of my arc copy, but things happened 😫.

Going on, this is my first time reading from the author, and I've quoted something from this collection. I would say that overall, it was okay. Not so horror, but more on the thriller side, in my opinion.

Purely Priest MMC x FMC. Surprise, surprise, it was more than that and at the same time not? I definitely had some expectations on this since the first few chapters were pretty strong tbh.

This gave me quite some discomfort and a little bit of pause worthy moments because WTF. There's quite a lot of things that some might not really find interesting and probably shookt and would be on the *to never read pile 🙈

Can we just take a moment and admire the pretty cover because this cover is just ✨️ IMMACULATE ✨️. I absolutely love the cover, and the cover of To Clutch a Razor is even ✨️ MORE IMMACULATE ✨️. Idk what's going to happen on To Clutch a Razor, but I am excited about it.

know I mentioned wanting to read some monster romance novels, and yes, I did. I got this whole series in Audiobook. I was thinking of listening to the other one later or another horror, but let's see.

Anyway, I really did have fun listening to this one last month and probably the reason why I got to reading again.

I now remember why I did shy away from this series after finding out who's MMC is going to be focused on.

I read Obsession, the first book of this fantasy, shifter, reverse harem series years ago when I thunk I'm still trying the genre and the monster romance genre.

But, hey, I finally read the book, and I think it's not that bad as someone who hated the MMC here, and still don't like him that much, especially after reading this book.

Anyway, I'm hoping to read the 3rd one of this series, considering the MMC is a little adorable and tied to Norse Myth 🤌🏽.

The Golden Ass is a satirical story about religion, class, society, etc. There's also Mythology on it and heavily if I'm being honest. Some moments or parts were funny, and some kinda slumped. If you're interested in my thoughts on this, my review is at the bottom, together with the wrap-up 🫶.

Anyway, back on my May reading, the good thing is that I managed to have a fun (I think) 3 day marathon on the last 3 days of May and read 6 books (so proud of me 😫🤌🏽).

This first book delivers this kind of dark, weird, and fairytale like world and formatted like an interconnected collection of mini/ short story within the same world lore or realm.

There's a whole rich and established world or lore here, like Gods and Goddesses, origins of the world that I believe would be expanded more in the next books.

It was a really intriguing read for me. I would say I would recommend this. If you're interested in my full thoughts of this first book, my review is at the end.

Anyway, I am back with another fave read I had last month 🫶. This has been on my tbr for a while, ever since this released, and it took me some time to finally read this. I also know some of you are waiting for this review, so here it is 💗.

I've read 2 previous short stories from the author which one of them I did enjoy so much, titled The Night Cyclist. It's a really intriguing read that I recommend.

I may have been really emotional and blabbering on my review of this book and gave some spoilers, so be aware when you read my review at the bottom🙈.

Reading this book really reminded me of some reading I did in university tbh.

The last week of last month was such a busy week for me as I'm locking on the project I once again was invested on. That being said, my reading has been to a halt on that whole week, and you could say I'm quite had a rough time getting back into my Crs after a vacation.

I'm now back threading quite in a very slow paced in Empire of Silence compared to Dune and really well with Rejection. I really hope I enjoy them ✨️.

Anyway, these are the things I'm focusing on other than my project. I've been really obsessed with horror podcasts as usual and vampire like movies 😫. I'm also missing Bailey Sairan videos. There hasn't been a new one for a while now :((.

I can't honestly wait for the sequel of this, and I might have added this author's other series from my tbr 🙈.

Entwined, on the other hand, is a Gilded Historical Fantasy Duology that offers a very unique magic system and lore so fascinating and quite dark. It is very political as well and oppressing in nature of its merging concepts so far in this book.
