i had a really important conversation last night and i want to kinda go over it briefly, so maybe someone else can identify.
I don’t think straight people will ever understand how comforting it is to be surrounded by other queer individuals. I feel so much more at ease with people who I share similar struggles. and that’s not even pertaining to me being around other lesbians, all of us talking about how much it sucks “chasing the straight girl” or complaining about the sexualization of one of our most identifiable qualities, but just queer people in general. gay males, bisexual females, asexual trans people, it’s a universal struggle.
Chances are most straight people have no idea how I really am or how I work, including my family and some of my closest friends. but queer people I’ve known for 3 weeks do.
Fear of being alone. Fear of disrupting the arrangement of your life. A decision to settle for something that’s okay, because you don’t know if you can get any better, even if you know they won’t change.

omg ill never forget the time when i was doing laundry, and i needed a second washer to put my whites in, but all of the washers were full. So I saw one washer that wasn’t going, so I figured someones wash was done and they weren’t there to get it, so I took their stuff out and put my stuff in. Lofepramine and Citalopram discontinued after patient got pissed off with side affect and lack of obvious improvement. Discontinuation symptoms: Dizziness and confusion. Patient kept falling over, fainting and walking out in front of cars. Delusional ideas – believes consultant is the antichrist.
Refused all other treatment.
- 100 aspirin and one bottle of Bulgarian Cabernet Sauvignon, 1986. Patient woke up in a pool of vomit and said ‘Sleep with a dog and rise full of fleas.’ Severe stomach pain. No other reaction.

I need to decide if I even enjoy being around people anymore. I feel like I have no room for casual anything. I am angry, all of the time and deeply confused because a lot of people in my life have let me down recently. one of them was me. it’s devastating but, not completely.

A very emotionally draining night

To all my followers who don’t follow tennis and are wondering why this is important, Serena and Venus were unfairly treated at Indian Wells. The last time Serena played at this venue was in the 2001 final. She won, but she was booed throughout and racist slurs were thrown at both her and her family because Venus pulled out of their semifinal match. Venus and Serena boycotted the tournament since then. 14 years later, Serena decided to return. She was rightfully apprehensive and unsure what the crowd would be like, but she was welcomed on the court for her first match with a standing ovation. That’s why both she and her family are in tears.
