[*Sunny panted before wobbling over to the desk, a hint of blush growing on her fluffy cheeks. Boy, wasn’t she embarrassed.]
* Oh! S..sorry…um..here…
[*Speaking in a softer voice, her tail opened up the bag and lifted up a package to set on the desk, followed by a few envelopes. Looks like quite a bit of mail was for the library today.]
* S-Sorry about that…I was trying to hurry and not be late for the drop off. Those offices don’t stay open all night…s..sorry…
“It’s fine, there’s just no need to panic, especially not in a calm area of learning.”
*Reaching out, Lib pulled the package and letters in closer to her. How unusual, she didn’t often get this much mail. Correspondence from the Capitial? And what was this package? Deftly, Lib would run a claw along the tape keeping it sealed before opening it.
“... You may sit down for a moment, if you like. Catch your breath.”
“I won’t pry.”
*And that was that. it wasn’t her place to invade people’s private pasts – and, thankfully, unlike Grillby, people often did not force them upon her either. There was no alcohol in the library to loosen inhibitions and let people speak freely upon things they really shouldn’t discuss with a stranger.
“Yes, you just need to present that when you come to check out books, and then I will stamp them with your return date.. like so..”
*She pulled the library cards out of the front pockets of each book, stamped them, then returned them back to the books. She stacked the books up, then pushed them towards Faye.
“And you’re all set.”
[* Faye picked up the books, smiling faintly. She looked like she wanted to ask something else but decided against it.]
* Thanks..!
[* There was a brief awkward pause as Faye didn’t quite know what to say before she just said goodbye with a nod and took the books, leaving the library.]
Delivery
* I’M LATE!!!
[*Running through Snowdin, the fox monster huffed to hurry to the Library, her bag clanking against her hip. She had letters to deliver and a package, well more of her having to return a book. So she rushed to the door and pulled it open with her tail, shaking off the snow off her fur. She had to take a moment to breath.]
* Oh gosh…oh gosh..I..I’m so sorry to be late! H-Here, I have the mail for you!
*One moment the lizard had been quietly reading, the next her door was suddenly being yanked open, the snow-covered delivery-person making their way hurriedly in. Realizing that they were simply in a hurry and there was no danger to be had, Lib slowly relaxed back against her desk.
“... Please be quieter in the library. Go ahead and bring your deliveries over here, if you don’t mind. Calmly.”
* Oh, uh.. r-really? * I… hadn’t heard this from anyone else.. * I just left for, uh.. personal reasons…
* But uhm, t-thank you!
[* She takes the card, looking at it for a moment.]
* That was actually pretty quick! * Is this.. all I need for the books?
“I won’t pry.”

[* Faye smiled as she watched Lib go through her routine, appreciating the neat handiwork.]
* Actually… yeah! * Do a lot of monsters move in from there..?
“We’ve been expecting it, to be honest. Some of the people of Snowdin don’t like the idea of a bunch of people from the capital moving here.. but I suppose its to be expected, with the capital as full as it is.”
“I don’t mind it, personally.”
*Taking he card, she put it into a plastic slip, then ran it through a laminating machine under her desk. The process took a little bit of time, but not nearly as much time as lib made it sound like it would take. She held the card out to Faye.
“There you are.”
I have a riddle for you~ *he clears his throat as his voice gets deeper* The person who buys me doesn't need me, the person who makes me doesn't want me, and the person who uses me does not know it... What am I?
“Hmm.. let me ponder on this a bit. The person who buys me doesn’t need me… makes me doesn’t want me… the person who uses me doesn’t know it..”
“For them to not know it the person would need to be unconscious or.. dead? if they’re dead, and the person who buys it isn’t going to need it… it can’t be a bed so… it must be..”
“.. Is it a coffin? How macabre!”
There are loopholes connecting the Undernet and the Internet, and this site seems to be full of them!
“.. How interesting, and a it unsettling. Perhaps I should inform the Doctor of this.”

* T-These books look really cool, though! So I just had to check them out! * Oh.. my name is Faye by the way!

*Shaking out the photo once it printed from the bottom, she then found a paper card in one of her drawers. Tracing a clawed finger along the photo, she very neatly cut out a bit of the photo, then placed it on the card. She wrote the name ‘Faye’ on it below ‘Snowdin Public Library’. below that, she wrote a series of numbers, for recording purposes.
“I’m Lib, the librarian. Did you come from the capital?”
*Anonymously donates two cinnamon bunnies and a mug of echo flower tea*
“.. It isn’t money, but it’s very kind nonetheless. I’ll have these for lunch.”

*Lib seemed pleased regardless. She was always happy to induct someone into the wonders of the library. Digging around under her desk, she pulled out what appeared to be an old Polaroid camera. Lifting it up, she’d aim it at Faye.
