Today @lazyduchess showers made history! It did what we’ve been waiting for years for EA to do. I’m very proud of TheSims community because you push the barriers so far beyond the limits.

The dedication and commitment of @lazyduchess, today allows us to play a TheSims 3 (I say without fear) much more optimized than TheSims 4 itself in its origin.

The feeling of living in an open world with almost 0 lag is definitely THE BEST FEELING IN YEARS! She made this game as good as any The Sims ever released!

And if you did that with a patch, imagine how much deeper it can go to improve it even more! I’m definitely still delighted, and for someone who was looking for all ways to optimize #oldsunset, I can say with certainty that her work will positively influence the deep open world proposal I want to create for The Sims 3.

So thank you very much @lazyduchess for all your commitment, focus and dedication. Keep surprising us and PLEASE don’t stop, go deeper, I can already imagine the future this holds for us. Thanks!! And please, if you’re reading, go check out this miracle, because it definitely made my day VERY HAPPY! I thought the fact that my dad got back together talk with me would have made my day shine, but seeing my relationship with my dad come back to blossom, made me feel like everything was flowing again. The Official “Log Off” Protest F.A.Q!

The “Log Off” protest is in response to the recent NSFW ban announced by Tumblr. The ban flags all content the filtering system detects as NSFW, reducing visibility to the community. The system has proven time and time again that is inefficient, oftentimes flagging SFW material as NSFW.

This SFW material includes art, memes and so on. This ban directly hurts the community and will not solve the actual problems at hand due to the poor flagging system. Because of this, the entire community will suffer.

So to respond, I propose that every user on Tumblr logs off of Tumblr for 24 hours on December 17th at 12 am EST.
