“Why doesn’t the OP put that it’s a manip in the caption?”
This is a statement I see in various forms across a lot of the photos we make or even in people’s ask boxes. Some phrase it nicer than others and it only tends to happen when posts garner attention.
This whole blog is a manip blog. Nothing on here will ever be actual photos. I spend my time in photoshop everyday racking my brain or fulfilling requests for these photos. I enjoy making these photos and never really expected this blog to gather attention like it did. It started out as a fun joke between friends and a way for me to get better at using photoshop.
That being said, I don’t state that it is a manip in any of my captions because it become redundant on a blog that is all manips. I realize the people who tend to comment on this issue are the ones who don’t follow me and probably won’t even see this but I do this for my followers, and my followers are aware, or if they aren’t, they will be now.
All else I can say on the matter is, check OPs before you reblog a photo that looks like it could be real, but you’ve never seen any other photos with the person holding/carrying and item.
