"The kid nods warily, but she pokes her head out a little bit further from behind John. John blinks and looks up with several of his eyes, apparently only just noticing the new accessory, and touches it delicately with the tips of two claws.
“Very nice work,” Charlie says. “That right there looks like some solid craftsmanship.”

A few pieces of fanart for the phenomenal "To Make A Heaven of Hell" Series by @ernmark! These are a few of my favorite scenes, where detective Noel approaches an abandoned grain silo he received a call from, after John and Faroe escape the Dark World, while Arthur remains trapped. Last time he saw John he was a bit less intimidating! Faroe doesn't mind, though. That's her dad's fish friend.
I can't recommend the series enough, it's got plot, it's got feelings, it's got Eldritch John, queerplatonic relationships, political intrigue, it's got Daniel making uncomfortable-but-important compromises on his faith in the name of love. I absolutely plan to doodle a few of my other favorite scenes, there's so many good ones. Give it a read!
