Green laboratorium

Logo, labels, business cards and other goodies for a Swiss hand crafted skincare brand. They create skincare products that are as simple as possible. Pure ingredients, readable labelling, honest recipes made with lots of understanding, care and love. When it comes to cosmetics, they are more interested in health, not so much in decoration.  The products are artisanal, hand crafted, with only natural ingredients. Food grade herbs, butters and oils, therapy grade essential oils, small batches and limited editions, reusable containers.The labels are home printed and the business cards were printed with letterpress on 100% cotton paper (by the lovely Inkredible Letterpress).

BØLGEBLIKK

Tank developed a new name, visual identity and website for the architecture agency former known as Ottar Arkitekter. Our aim was to develop an identity where quality and professionalism is expressed. We also wanted the identity to reflect the monumental buildings the agency works with. Maintaining an innovative and modern expression was essential to us during the process. The final name: Bølgeblikk.  Bølgeblikk (eng. corrugated iron) is an intriguing and challenging choice of name, with strong connotations to inexpensive, rugged and rough use of materials. Bølgeblikk has traditionally been used in sheds, military barracks etc., but has recently experienced a renaissance among several young architects because of its unparalleled quality and flexibility. Upon dividing the name in two, the word Bølge (wave) and Blikk (glance) convey the contrast between movement and stillness, hard and soft, organic and constructed. A complex name requires good legibility. By slightly deconstructing the letters, interesting spaces and contrasts appear amongst the letters. When the logo is assembled in patterns, it creates dynamic sections where the legibility of the letters disappears and the importance of the shapes increases.

Nubia

Packaging for a new skin-care line line using natural, 100% bio ingredients. The packaging had to convey the freshness of the ingredients and the artisanal nature of the products, while also staying contemporary and being easily differentiated from other organic products on the market.
