ok but this is such a great analogy to describe serkanâs character as well. a cold cloud that doesnât move until it bursts from heat and turns into something as beautiful as a star?? yeah sign me tf up
Sen Ăal KapÄąmÄą Episode 1
Sen Cal Kapimi is a refreshing, summer fun romcom show! It consists of humor, light drama, and romance between Hande Ercel (Eda) and Kerim Bursin (Serkan Bolat)! If you need English subtitles, then don't worry about it. All you have to do is click on CC and then go on settings to change it to the language you know! However, I'm not sure if FOX will add subtitles to the rest of the show. I noticed they provide subtitles in many languages after a few days of release on YouTube for this particular show.
Here is a summary of Episode 1! I recommend you to watch the show, but if you want to know about this episode with a little bit of spoiler, then continue reading!
Eda is introduced as a part-time florist at her aunt's flower shop. She had lost her scholarship that she had obtained from a company owned by Serkan Bolat because of financial cuts. This leads her to leave her university without graduating. Eda had spent the rest of her life hating Serkan Bolat.Â
Eda lives with a friend/cousin (I am not sure) and her aunt. Her friends planned to attend a graduation speech that was going to be made by Sekan Bolat. Eda carried the hatred along to see him speak with her friends. Eda and Serkan have never met, but she has seen him in the media and magazines. Therefore, he doesn't know who she is when she loses control of her anger and gets herself into a mess where she is handcuffed to Serkan for hours. Â As messy as it is, it was hilarious to watch them walk around in the city handcuffed and attend Serkan's business meeting as a couple. Keep in mind that Eda chose not to tell Serkan her name.Â
I won't tell you how they freed themselves, but it was amusing to watch them search for a solution. After freeing themselves, Â both of them express their hatred to each other and hope to never meet again. As we all know, life doesn't go the way one wants it to. Eda and Serkan meet again (you will have to watch to find out how) and get themselves into a situation where they will have to see each other for two months. This is because Serkan decides to make his ex-girlfriend jealous during her engagement by saying he has a fiance. No one was with him, except Eda, and he had no option but to present her as his fiance. (He still doesn't know Eda's name!) There is more! The next day, Eda makes it more complicated for herself and Serkan after her unexpected breakup with her boyfriends (well, we knew something was fishy). Her frustration with the breakup and everything in her life led her to think unclearly, walk towards Serkan while he is giving a business speech in front of reporters, and ...

DoÄduÄun Ev Kaderindir | Episode 7
Zeynep has a pure heart. She is so caring of others. It makes me love her even more. We are back with Zeynep telling Benal to reconsider her decision on aborting her baby. For a moment, I thought Benal would reveal to Zeynep who the father was, but she doesnât and says that he is a married man. I canât tell if Zeynep suspects Mehdi, but probably not. Benal is concerned with the future because she is sure that Mehdi will not break up with Zeynep. Zeynep tells Benal about her fathers and how she never saw fatherly love. What matters is that there is a mother behind the child. Thatâs why a father has no right to an abortion. I found this scene touching because Zeynep was discussing her real experience and rights to her own life. Benal goes on that the man, doesnât know about her actions. Zeynep continues to calm her the best way possible, even using herself and Mehdi as an example, but of course, it makes it hard for Benal because the father is Mehdi! Okay this confirms that she doesn't suspect it to be Mehdi. Benal is surprised that Zeynep and Mehdi are only together for Kibrit. I guess this gives Benal hope to get Mehdi back into her life. Benal hasnât made a decision in front of Zeynep, but thanks her for her human behavior (kindness/support), which I have a feeling Zeynep will always be like this to Benal as long as Benal doesn't harm her intentionally. I also agree that Benal should have the baby if she wants. No one should stop her from keeping and raising her child.
Mehdi and Nuh learn that Zeynepâs second father has a daughter whom he is hiding from everyone. I want Zeynep to come across her father for the truth to be revealed since they are all in the hospital. Mehdi might stop her from finding out if she does come across. And he does! Which is probably the best for now, but her 2nd father saw them. Zeynep and Mehdi had lied to each other about why they were at the hospital. Zeynep couldnât keep her lie. Mehdi looks concerned and upset, but he shouldn't be because he is lying to her on many topics. Zeynep doesnât reveal who she was with. Okay, Mehdi told her that he lied as well, and says he has kept it secret too. He asked her if sheâs not going to ask who and with what. Zeynep tells him she is fine with it because if it's about their families or her he would tell her. Yea Mehdi, you think you can try to be clean now. Haha, Zeynep is making it hard for Mehdi. I love how honest and innocently Zeynep speaks. Remember, Mehdi is protecting Zeynep from anymore sadness.Â
Omg lets just go a bit off-topic for a few seconds! There is a cat in the train station just chilling on the seats! I love how there are so many stray cats in Turkey wandering around! Do any of you see that where you live! I would probably miss my train because Iâll be busy petting or thinking photos of it! Too cute!!!
Okay back to the show. I love how the issues connect among all the cast. Zeynep is upset about her mother finally giving up on her father. Why couldnât she divorce her father back then, maybe her siblings would have been with her now. Instead, Sakine made a shield between Zeynep and her real parents. This was the life of most women back in the days and still today. They donât have power over their rights or desires with their husband. Zeynep truly believes a father isnât necessary, all she needed was her real mother by her side. Zeynep seeing this kind of âcourageâ upsets her because she wasn't taught to be like this before.
First time I've seen Zeynep cry into Mehdiâs shoulders. I can see she accepts and trust him to be by her side. Hoping things would ease down, but more heartbreaking moments come to the doorstep. Zeynepâs second mother arrives to give all her belongings and leaves without saying anything to her. Zeynep blames herself because she believes her 2nd mother wouldnât have behaved like this if she had listened to her. Thankfully Mehdi is by her side! Zeynep losing track of her school life is relatable with so many people, Iâm glad Mehdi is taking her motherâs desire to get Zeynepâs life together.
I don't blame Benal for anything. I think a lot of us would have thought and had hope like she did. Itâs upsett that Mehdi would leave her like this when they loved each other. He doesnât seem like the one to hook up with someone for pleasure. One thing I donât get is why he never told his mother that he wanted Benal in his life. Zeynep is so thoughtful that she is planning for Benal to live in comfort with her child. The guilt will rise. However, Zeynep should slow down with Benal. I feel bad for Zeynep because she is innocent and clueless.
Seriously the good in people gives hope that they still exist today. Iâve seen kind acts done without expecting anything in return in Turkish shows. It could be for a loved one or stranger. Mehdi and Zeynep are one of those people filled with positivity, love, care, kindness, and humanity.Â
As usual, everyoneâs decision and action makes sense. So far no one is to blame for their actions, except for Zeynepâs 2nd father who was intentionally harming people. I have skipped discussing about the event that occurred with Emine, Dilara and other cast member to keep this post the normal length as my other episode summaries. Make sure to watch this episode if you havenât!Â

The 100 : Season 5
Just a short excitement and love for the end of season 5. Beware of spoilers.Â
This show is executed so well! I love how they incorporate realistic behaviors of humans while creating believable chaos in the world. I just finished season 5 and the ending made me emotional! I loved Monty, his passion and love for so many things, such as engineering, farming, and people. You know why Iâm picking on Monty right now if youâve seen the ending of season 5. I really wished he had swapped places for a few years with someone. Yet he chose to live as happy as he could with Harper and make sure to give a world to his son. His choice was very similar to Jasper but in his version of happiness. Within him, he wanted to be with friends who are like family to him, but he and Harper made a sacrifice. I hope the cycle of continuous war will stop (probably not since there are two more seasons). Overall I loved every season I watched! Hopefully, the world theyâre are entering will allow them to be and be surrounded with proper humanity. Love to every member of Clarkeâs team!
