It takes a lot for a girl like Lexi to spill her feelings for or to someone, and it takes even more to talk about it to one of her closest friends whom she had grown feelings for. So after he had turned her down, she convinced herself to hide away for the rest of her life. Not only is it embarrassing, but it’s also awkward. Figuring it wouldn’t be that hard to stay friends and ignore the awkwardness, she decided to go on a ‘Not Date’ with Jacey, although she wanted it to be real. Lexi quickly got dressed in not-too-dressy clothes and did her make up, like she always did. Just friends. She slid on her shoes just as she heard the knock on the door. Lexi then opened the door, smiling softly at the boy on the other side. “Hi.” She whispered before walking out of her room.
