London is such a big and diverse city, and i’m happy I was able to see the Camden district with it’s bustling markets and rock district. I could spend all day here because everything for sale was so cool and varied from traditional clothes to fine handcrafted jewelry, to rock records. I unfortunately was not able to buy much more than a T-shirt and some souvenirs, but I would revisit this district if I came back to London. The food shacks also varied from crepes, indian food, to hotdogs and fries, vegan and gluten free options, brownies, seafood, juices, and more. Such a beautiful, vivid place.

One thing I thought was really cool in Stockholm was the story behind this Raoul Wallenberg tribute. He was a diplomat and businessman who saved thousands of jews from Budapest (where I had also visited) during World War 2 by using his power to take them onto his land and make them passports so they could escape. 

I really enjoyed this city for the personality, rich culture, and nice people. It was obvious the people here were proud of their culture but were still kind to others. The styles and street vibes were also very hipster which I appreciated a lot. Definitely would come back here for a longer period of time!

The lion head had a cool story about how the designer of it said he would commit suicide if anyone pointed out a flaw, and a kid walked by and noticed it had no tongue. 

Széchenyi Thermal Bath in Budapest, Hungary. A few friends and I went during the night thinking it would be prettier, which it was. We didn’t consider the fact everyone around us would be macking on each other!! A really weird, smokey, and romantic experience. I have been to a hot spring in Colorado before but I have to say this one was way more beautiful and also the heat was more tolerable (maybe because it is still winter). Could’ve stayed in here for a few hours but only did for about an hour. 

Visited the Louvre Museum in Paris, France and did typical tourist thing, like the stereotypical Louvre photo. Got in for free for being a student in the EU. The place is huge so I didn’t see everything, but definitely enough to get my museum fix. The reverse pyramid inside the Louvre was my favorite thing even though it is more modern. I love how the Louvre integrates old school art while upgrading the architecture with modern elements, like those of the pyramid.
