im finding it rlly interesting to observe the writing and meta of sid fans circa 2014-15 bc like. ohhhh they dont even know. they dont even know the natemac of it all yet. like from what i can gather it wasnt common knowledge how close sidnate were til the minidoc in like 2016, they rlly didnt know abt the summer bf its kinda funny to mee lol but there's just so much abt sidnate that wasnt revealed until later, even down to the dune story and etc

nathan mackinnon is like. really funny to me. he's insanely intense about everything. he's so very normal about things. he played himself on a show called mr d. he manifested his childhood crush into becoming his situationship slash coworker. he likes hip hop. he's open about going to therapy. he asked to be called the dogg (✌️ two g) by everyone. he believes in aliens and ghosts. he used to stream fortnite. he's built as fuck. he was quoted at the olympics saying he's 'not here to have fun'. he didn't have a backup career option when he was younger. he wants to open a coffee shop one day. he has a temper and is always a little bit close to biting the refs. he's 6'1. who is doing it like him.

it’s always surprising to me that sidnate isn’t a much bigger pairing. like, their long, intertwined history, all the insane things they’ve done for and with each other, the off the charts husbands energy of it all…
