Hardison, run it.
The Challenge
Take the first and last line of a Leverage episode (the same episode) and "stuff" it with something new. Very short examples below the cut.
For more examples, and to give credit where it's due, I stole this concept from Regulus Press.
The Rules
A challenge isn't a challenge without a few constraints, so here they are:
I'll publish a chunk (roughly half a season's worth) of first and last lines without context each month. I'll label the episodes, but I suggest not rewatching until you've written your story - sometimes canon can root itself in your head and get in the way. Why half a season at a time? Well, one episode a month would mean it took roughly 6½ years to get through just OG Leverage, and I cannot commit to that. This way it'll take us a bit over a year if we include Redemption.
You should leave the words of the lines exactly as given, but you can go wild changing punctuation, capitals, sticking it in speechmarks, adding emphasis etc. I also won't be specifying who said what in the prompts, to avoid influencing you, so don't get hung up on who said what. Honestly, if you can take "one line" and turn it into "one...?" "Line", you go for your life.
I'll also post a collection on AO3. You post your work to that collection when it's ready. It would be lovely if people taking part made a special effort to read and comment on other participants' entries.
I say entries, this is not a competition. This is a challenge and a way to show some fics some love.
You can write what you want: shipping, jobfics, smut, violence, AUs, general slice of life, fluff, crack. Just please ensure you rate and tag appropriately and when it comes to the reading, pay attention to those ratings and tags.
You can write as much or as little as you want: if you can get from the first line to the last line in 5 words, good for you, and if you want to churn out a 100k epic instead, go for your life.
Equally, you can write a story for one prompt, or one per round, or for every single one, or several versions of one prompt, or anything in between. No limits!
You don't have to write an OG Leverage fic for OG Leverage lines; any Leverage-related fandom is fine (including crossovers if that's your jam).
For that matter, if you want to make a comic, or a gifset, or a podfic, or whatever else you can think of, and it successfully stuffs the lines, then go for it!
I'll leave the prompts up and the collections open, so you can take part using any of the prompts at any time. It's just more likely that other players will see and comment if you post within a month of the collection opening.
Don't want to write for it? Not a problem! You can still be part of the challenge by reading, commenting, and even spreading the word about the challenge by sharing fics.

THE BOOST JOB
Start: …and if you’re just joining us, we’re following New Hampshire police as they're in pursuit of a stolen vehicle.
End: No, it's my car.
Stuffing #1
"…and if you’re just joining us, we’re following New Hampshire police as they're in pursuit of a stolen vehicle."
"Dammit, Hardison!" Eliot slammed his hand on the dashboard of the police cruiser. "This is enough to make me miss that song you used to sing."
"Can't sing that. We're not in Lucille." Parker pointed out from the back seat, and Hardison nodded.
"Good point, mama. Besides, it would be rude to sing when you're so clearly having some kind of conniption. I'm just glad it's not my van we're chasing."
Eliot generally tried not to snarl at his crew, on account of knowing how terrifying he could be, but now he snarled and growled.
"No, it's my car."
Stuffing #2
"…and if you’re just joining us, we’re following New Hampshire police as they're in pursuit of a stolen vehicle."
Sophie switched off the radio with a swift stab at the button and turned to Harry with a smile.
"Now where were we?" She pulled him into another deep kiss, and when they broke apart her eyes were sparkling. "Is this a rental? Do we need to worry about cleaning fees?"
Harry blinked at her, dazed and more than a little aroused.
"...No, it's my car."
