Hear me out but an au of Running Man in the Filipino Highschool.
Alright so here's the chismis.
First things first, the Running Men (except Pala) where enrolled in different school. Public and Private school.
Liu, Miyo and Lonky would enrolled in a private school. While Popo, Gai, and Kuga would be in public school.
Liu and Miyo were one of the smartest students in their sections, often been competing with other sections as well.
Lonky is the escort representative in his sections, which benefits them in school events when it comes to muse and escort.
Liu's favorite subjects were Science and Robotics (I had that when I was in Junior year)
Miyo's favorite subjects were History and Science, she is also participate in the Debate team.
Lonky's favorite subject were surprisingly MAPEH, and was part of the dance team.
Miyo is the typical quiet girl, seen in library or in classroom. Liu and Lonky took her in different places to have fun.
Miyo + Lonky = Big sister and li' brother relationship.
Liu and the duo always visits the others, sometimes vice versa.
Gai, Kuga knew each others as kids in their elementary days, while Popo knew Lonky each other before Lonky transfers in Private school after graduating in Grade 6.
Kuga isn't a bully but often get into fights because seeing a bully bullying someone else isn't their no no.
Gai participate quite a lot in school activities, which makes him a great role model.
Gai was once tried to become escort in his class, but only few voted him.
Kuga didn't much had many friends aside Gai, until they meet the others.
Once in a relationship with some girl (Tina) but broke up after he was been used and backstabbed at the end.
Popo is a smart kid, really wished to be in private school with Lonky.
Whenever a school event battling with other schools, it's Gai and Popo vs. Liu and Miyo.
Popo's biggest flex is having cool cards and hid in the teachers in class.
Despite his size, he is very fierce and teasing him will put on a death wish.
Gai always fall from Miyo from head to toe, whenever Miyo would visit the school with Liu and Lonky. The whole sections will call Gai that his "girlfriend" is here.
Liu and Miyo were the type of students that you can't tell if they were dating or not.
Popo and Lonky would buy drinks and fries in a nearby restaurant.
Both Kuga and Lonky had a thing each other; Kuga thinks Lonky as spoiled and entitled. Lonky sees Kuga as brute and violent, but they get to know each other slowly but surely.
Liu and Kuga would surprisingly get along quickly since Kuga sees how nice Liu to everyone.
Gai isn't a jealous type and ironically, him and Liu seems to have almost romantic attraction each other tee hee.
Pala is one of their "Tito" (Uncle in Filipino) in the streets. He works as a Pharmacist which is near from their schools, how they know him? Well, he used to be a street vendor once during their early years as kids. Pala is still single and seems to be living in a fairly good life.
Their nationalities and their personal life:
Liu is Filipino Chinese and lives in a big and almost old house with his sister Shan, he has parents in this Au but they were busy. Has vintage collection of machines from each rooms, while the two has a great relationship. Liu often envies his sister to get the best thing like being a great leader and enrolled in a school that he wants to go there. Sometimes, he doesn't want to babied by his family and wants to learn independence.
Miyo is pure Filipino, lives in a modest home with her grandma. Her parents were long passed when she was a kitten, didn't get many friends growing up which leads to become close and having problems to attached with others.
Kuga is Filipino, lives in a strict household where vulnerabilities isn't normalized. He wasn't poor but their are things he cannot afford in his life, always been disappointed when he get sent to the office a lot.
Popo is Filipino Chinese, lives in a town which near at the sea/lake. A modest life, but he wants more than just simple. He always dream to become bigger or greater, like being a politician or an actor. He got potential, but his envy with others including Lonky leads to an almost stagnation.
Lonky is Mestizo or Filipino-French, born in an old money where started during the Spanish Era. While rich and quite known form his peers. He gets overshadowed by his relatives and sometimes pressure of being better. His father always get to do his schedule and chose which friends or relationship did his father likes.
Gai is pure Filipino, his father left him when he was younger and his mother tried her to raise them. They didn't lived much comfortable so Gai has to step up and be the breadwinner of the family, which makes him the second father figure to his brothers.
Pala is just Pala, their schools were just few blocks of walking it.
