I still don't have any clue what went wrong between us. I'm pretty sure you're just a monster. But before you were a monster, you were truly my best friend. I wish I could fix whatever broke you.

We were still friends when the necklace I made you broke in a million pieces on your floor. It happens. I never expected you to go through all the effort to fix it. Especially not after you left, as nothing more than a power play. Something you could wear to remind me of the good times we had, not because we'd keep having them, but so it could hurt more that they were over.

You said I was too controlling. That I was keeping you from your other friends. All because I asked that we still see each other too? Sure, I didn't love R or that other chick. But I never ever ever would have asked you to leave them for me like you so boldy claim I did. You saw them in your classes, waiting for the bus, outside of school. All I asked was that we could have lunch together. I mapped out the table, included them even though I didn't like them. I would have even settled for once or twice a week, even though I had noone else to fill the other days.

So what truly made you not want to be my friend? It happens overnight. I don't understand it. It's not fair for me or you to them to lay the blame on them. I'm sure it wasn't their fault.
