many thoughts, actually. i'm a taurus who was very much in love with a scorpio. she taught me a lot about how important feelings are to some. with the bull in my sun i'm not the most emotional of people. she feels and then thinks. i think and then feel. i've never had a connection with anyone like that before and i believe as long as there is a lot of communication and open-mindedness, the polar opposites are perfect together and there is nothing but good things for them. both are fiercely loyal and committed and have a lot to offer. there will never be a dull moment. also, one of my oldest and dearest friends is a scorpio and although it didn't come without effort, we are definitely very close. we have had to learn to work around our stubbornness and i have to be conscious of how important his feelings are to him. this combo makes a great team romantically or not. just be aware of the other planets in their charts and that there have will be some give and take in order for it to work. with all that in mind you're bound to have a companion for life.

i actually don’t believe in cusps, i believe in birth charts and here is why: my best friend was born 20 days after me (may 20) putting her right on the cusp of taurus and gemini. growing up we were always so different even though we were allegedly the same sign. she has even confessed to me on multiple occasions that she never fully identified with taurean qualities. we recently found out that she was born some time after 10pm, astrologically making her a gemini sun, taurus moon. personally i believe that is where the confusion comes in with cusps and the idea that this person now possess both qualities. although it is possible to find qualities from both signs they are not both found in sun. for example mercury is always 28 degrees away from the sun in our charts in one direction or the other. that means that it is always in your sun or the one before/after it. so someone born on your cusp could be an aquarius sun, but have a pisces mercury which would make them much more emotionally receptive and emotionally open than the typical aquarian therefore causing them to identify with both signs.birth charts to me just make much more sense because they are much more personalized, and to use astrology they way i like astrological individuality is key. give me the time, place, and date of your birth and i would be more than happy to do a full analysis. hope i helped! 

absolutely! with gemini in your rising it really helps to bring the more social notes of capricorn to life. you most likely come off as easy going and find it easy to mingle with people from all walks of life.i would imagine you draw others in with stories or jokes. gemini's wit and capricorns natural ability to deliver jokes perfectly is a social cocktail. this mix astrologically can do amazing things in business. capricorn's drive and objective mentality could really put gemini's influential powers to good use. just be careful to not be too by the book, as capricorn is. use the freer thinking of your gemini rising to your advantage to be open to new ideas.  having capricorn in your sun and moon only intensifies the emotionally cautious nature of your sun. feelings are probably something for you to analyze, and you only allow yourself to feel them one you've figured out how to express them in a practical way. saturn and moon's relationship is rocky one. it may cause you to become a "taskmaster" of sorts, mistaking nurturing for getting others (and yourself) into doing "what is right." you show how you feel, you don't tell and when it isn't acknowledged you take it personally. you may seem to practical to let things get to you, but when you do hurt these feelings can become brooding. in close relationships it could cause you to become closed off and appearing cold. with the sun and moon working against you it's important to understand that it's healthy to express your emotions, to yourself and those around you. hope i helped!
