So this man is staring at me while I am all disheveled and gross from work. He turned down the music and said, "87.7, right?" I nodded probably with my jaw still on the ground, and then he says, "Great song!" But I didn't say anything back. I didn't look away, or smile, or gesture. Nope. I just zoned out. Like... what? I can't even tell you what I was thinking. I just could not look away from this guy's face.

The light finally turned green. I zapped back to planet earth and hit the gas. Immediately I felt a wave of embarrassment come over me, and I just wanted to go home.

But no, the universe couldn't just let me get away that easy. The next two stop lights I needed to go through had to turn red. The guy had to go the same way as me, and had to be perfectly stopped next to me at the light. Naturally, of course.  

At the last light, I had to get over to the left lane, and the guy got over to the left turn lane. At this point, I am pretty pissed at the cosmos. Just as his light is about to turn green, he yells at me, "You got good taste, ERNEE!"
