What do you do when you don’t want to hire a wedding coordinator?

I see more and more couples taking on the responsibility of planning their own wedding, paying for it and taking care of all the logistics through the wedding day.

It’s exciting, it’s fun and it’s new…Until it’s not.

The two statements I hear often as a wedding coordinator are:

We could not have done this without you!

&

I wish we would have hired a coordinator.

Brides Against Breast Cancer

    Hey All! Let me start by saying, these two are AMAZING!!! I’ve loved every moment I have got to spend getting to know who they are, their hearts and their joy for life.  I’ve appreciated how honest and real they are.  Everytime I turn around, I hear another person saying how much they appreciate their open hearts.

From the moment I started working with Anna and her lovely Mom, I knew this wedding would be perfect. All the details were carefully thought out to provide the lovely atmosphere for a celebration.

These pictures don’t even capture the beauty of the day at it’s finest.  Many family members and friends came to put all of this together and more.  This was DIY like none other.  Most of the the decor was assembled at the venue by crafty hands and minds.  There was a creative vibe amongst all those helping to bring the vision alive.

I loved watching this!!!  I love the relationship she has with her Dad! It was fun to see the look on Russell’s face as he watched the surprise unfold.

As you can tell, I’m not the photographer of this lovely wedding. I have some fun “behind the scenes” photos, but I leave the photos to the professionals.  So stay tuned, I’ll be sharing beautiful photos from Bethany Small Photography soon.

One more for the road…

A quick shout out to all those who helped and played a part in this beautiful wedding, there’s just too many to name individually, you all are amazing! These two have had an impact on so many and so many have impacted them.  This day brought their community together to witness their love and commitment to forever.  Their future is brighter than sparklers.
