so i was making a short fic for day 3 of jaytim week but i am still working on it and making taro cards for each chapter apparently

That is, the "ranking" of relationships in regard to Loki.

I've noticed a couple of people express sadness that their relationship with Him is "lesser" than others: particularly, godspouses.

I've seen people who feel isolated because they simply can't relate to Him in that way.

Know what?

That's alright.

Loki isn't putting you on some sort of idyllic, elusive ranking system.

From what I've observed: Loki Himself is a very intimate Deity, Who loves relating to--and spending time with!--His people. (Godspousery itself is a serious commitment, that He doesn't take lightly. And certainly, not something He would push you into. Consent.is.vital.)

So?

However you relate to Him--

Whether that be parental, brotherly, a protective friend, a trusted mentor

(a kick in the ass, lmao)--

(You'll find He doesn't fix in boxes well, regardless):

That is good. That is valid.

Don't look to others to define what that relationship looks like.

That is best defined by yourself,

-and- Loki.

And truly?

It doesn't need to have a "neat" label on it.

It can be messy and raw and rugged and piercingly beautiful (much as He is).

It can flow and change with you.

With time.

You are valid, my friend.

Your relationship matters to Him.

Your partnership.

And if you search for him, search where his heart‘s buried
