𝐬𝐡𝐞  𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲  𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐬  𝐡𝐞𝐫  𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬  𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦  𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐤,     her  free  hand  flying  behind  her  back  as  if  to  hide  the  weapon  of  the  crime  (  she’d  been  improving  on  wandless  magic,  a  required  skill  if  a  witch  like  her  needed  to  hide  amongst  the  muggles ).  pansy  had  been  trying  to  unlock  her  mailbox  in  the  apartment  lobby  with  an  armful  of  groceries  before  she’d  given  up  completely  on  keys  and  muttered  a  quiet  ‘ alohamora ’.     ❝   oh,  fucking  hell.   ❞     she  grumbles  as  she  picks  up  her  mail,  all  addressed  as minjee  choi.     ❝   of  all  the  bloody  places,  you’re  my  neighbor.  this  is  my  retribution,  isn’t  it.   ❞

❛ 𝑽𝑬𝑹𝒀   𝑴𝑨𝑻𝑼𝑹𝑬   ,   ❜   𝑻𝑯𝑬   𝑫𝑨𝑹𝑲   𝑯𝑨𝑰𝑹𝑬𝑫   𝑾𝑰𝒁𝑨𝑹𝑫   drawls   in   response   ,   pierced   lips   curling   ever   so   slightly   into   a   smirk   dripping   with   arrogance.   blue   hues   follow   her   movements   ,   watching   with   thinly   -   veiled   amusement   as   the   woman   struggles   to   gather   her   items   within   her   arms.   he   stands   idly   for   now   ,   merely   humming   in   response   as   she   grumbles   out   her   half   -   hearted   threat.   it   never   failed   to   amuse   zaiden   just   how   hard   the   mighty   had   fallen   in   the   years   following   the   war   ;   zaiden   ,   much   like   his   fellow   muggleborn   peers   ,   had   fought   valiantly   alongside   harry   potter   and   his   closest   allies                   and   while   he   ,   himself   ,   had   been   one   of   the   slytherins   sentenced   to   the   dungeons   at   the   peak   of   the   calamity   ,   he   stuck   dutifully   to   his   morals.   parkinson   had   been   ready   to   give   the   chosen   one   up   and   while   many   of   their   peers   may   have   deemed   the   red   -   lipped   witch   a   war   criminal                   zaiden   couldn’t   be   fucked   to   care.   he   allows   her   to   struggle   for   a   beat   longer   ,   hardly   minding   the   way   she   sweeps   him   aside   ,   before   tsk   -   ing   in   response.   

Noa has great plans for today. From the moment she woke up to now – just before lunchtime – she’s been feeling great, too. It’s been raining all morning, yet the second Zaiden knocks on her door the sun starts to shine. It’s something she’s been noticing more and more lately; whenever the two of them are together, the sun shines. The universe is happy when they’re together and so is Noa. She opens the door for him, a smile on her face though it’s impossible for him to see. Three yellow roses are pressed against his nose and Noa laughs. “Happy almost Valentine’s Day!”
