no need to be anything special

Observing your stream of consciousness takes you to awareness; not a state but the original experience. It permeates all things and is the direct path to the love and joy of life itself.

Your mind is continually trying to dictate to you what's what. But know it is not your boss, merely a voice of desire and fear. You don't have to listen to it. Outside its chatter lies the unbound, where spontaneity and love are readily available.

Watch your interactions as you would look down out a window at street traffic. Everything comes and goes, and you simply register it without being involved. It may not be easy at first, but with practice you will find that your mind can function on many levels at the same time, and you can be aware of them all. It is only when you have a vested interest in any particular level that your attention gets caught in it, and you black out on other levels.

Resting as that-what-you-are is the greatest of gifts. You are after all -that. 

Just remain in the center observing and then forget that you are there.

There is nothing to be gained in what comes and goes. Stay with what remains when everything else falls away.

We carry inside us the wonders we seek outside us.

A passing cloud obscures simple presence. Why trouble yourself with it?
