I think i might have been built to live alone bc this morning i heard male voices outside my apartment door and they were clearly trying to get the person in the apartment across the hall to open their front door. and nobody gets intimidated on my fucking watch so I opened my door ready to confront and it was the actual police??? sorry but i dont have balls quite that large so I just shut the door again 😭 but I did listen in and it was the victims of crime unit trying to follow up with a victim who did not want to talk to them at all

this is dumb but I just wish I had cleavage. like sure i see how having smaller boobs is less hassle than having bigger ones but i just want that nice cleavage line when I wear a low cut top. but my boobs dont make that shape, even if I push them together theres always like two fingers of space between them and it pisses me off

interview went well!! a side effect of it tho was reinforcing how much of a magnet for autism i am lmao. who in the group interview did I gravitate towards initially and then get nicely chatting with afterwards? the autistic woman of course!! I know bc she self identified as such during the interview which idk if that was a good move or not but I respect it. I hope we both get the job so we can be work friends

I have a job interview this morning and the odds are stacked against me with it being a group interview and I've woken up with a sore throat and cough however I remain pure of faith that they will hire me

this is probably Too Feminist of me or whatever but at the escape room where I work there's this one puzzle where the customer reactions bother me. to solve it you need to look at a bunch of barbie dolls hanging in a row and flick some switches based on whether the barbies are hanging facing up or down. its the ~scary~ room so the barbies are all ragged and missing clothes and limbs. they also hang quite far up high and we have a blanket rule that you dont need to reach high for anything. and no matter how clearly you tell people that before they go in, no matter how many clues you put up on the screen saying not to reach up high...... people will always stretch and stand on tip toe to reach up and molest those barbies. they will grab and pull and twist them, they look up their skirts and tug on their hair. and they'll all see the giant "remember: you dont need to reach up high" hint on the screen and go "yeah! no reaching up high, except for these barbies I just have to molest!!!!!!!!!!" and I believe that the root cause here is misogyny. if they were male dolls they wouldn't be touched like that 😠
