Four years ago, I was painting an antique key I found before attending my friend’s quinceañera. At said quince I met and instantly clicked with another girl there. We became friends and over the years, she helped me heal and grow as a person, and she would go on to become my best friend.
Anyway, cut to this year, it’s my birthday and she brings me a gift. I open it to find an antique key, specifically one I was eyeing while shopping with her at an antique store a couple weeks. She noticed me looking at it and decided to buy it for me. I got super emotional. Anyway the key now hangs on my wall :)
