I realized I never shared any of these! Here are the paintings from my show at Headspace last year//the first paintings I’d ever done.   

Stitching my dream cloak is what I’ve been doing for the past month and here it is on my sister’s back.   Full on magic without a sewing machine.  Reversible with velvety teal on the other side and lots of secrets sewn into the lining.  

If you happen to be in the neighbourhood, stop by Library at the Dock, my work is up until the 26th alongside lots of wonderful trans/gender diverse artists’ work. Thanks so much to the babes who came out last night 😘

Oooh lalalala it is a wild ride

Hi, here’s something I’m really excited about-- Some of yall will remember that this time last year I was working on a story called “Get it on Automaton: a story of gay robot heartbreak”.  Then I got mugged in NOLA and all drawings were lost and I gave up because working on it always poked at the pain of that experience.  Recently however, the huge and confusing  expanses of time provied by Australian unemployment, and not knowing that many people here, has me back in the thick of it.  Here’s a sloppy color test for one of the pages.
