I'm bleeding, love

Hi! Wow, damn, I haven’t been on here for so long. What has it been like a month or so now? Anyways, I’m sorry for just sort of dropping off the face of the earth. Life got in the way and things began picking up and I guess I just got distracted? And with One Direction on a break I guess my interest in this blog hasn’t been as strong as it has been before.

So, what I’m saying is that I’ll be taking a break. An indefinite hiatus. I’m not sure when I’ll be back (hence why it’s indefinite). Maybe when One Direction comes back, maybe not. I’m not entirely sure.

A lot of the time, astrology writers talk about the elements so much that they just presume we all understand what they are, what they actually mean concerning the signs. I’m guilty of this too, so I wanted to make a post explaining what energy the elements actually represent.

Fire- Fire is the rumble in the belly, that impulsive need to satisfy whatever it is you desire. Often, fiery folk can be combative, yet passionate, someone that has trouble fitting into a box but rather wishes to break the box completely, to live by whatever their heart tells them to do. Fire is desire, will and action. In other words, they get things done.

Earth- Earth is the ability of sensation, to tap into the cyclic rhythms of the world, to live in a grounded and practical reality. Earth folk can find themselves wondering about what is “appropriate,” what a tangible reality is, yet there is also a creativity here, an appreciation of anything that excites the five senses. Earth is often associated with physical goods also.

Air- Air is the whirring energy of thought, of conception, of ideas that whizz and fizz in the mind. There is an eccentricity of air, a mindful genius. Air is also the talent of words, communication and expression, even though airy folk tend to have a kind of detached aura to them, a cerebral quality, but often friendly none the less. Air can think up wondrous ideas, even if they aren’t always the most practical.
