let me start off by saying I wrote this the day the album dropped. a lot of people have mixed feelings about Kanye and that’s natural. I didn’t edit this at all these notes are raw; with that being said here goes.

kw review

1. the beat and the vibe is bringing toward 808s & heart break mixed with yeesuz vibes. I feel a natural energy from the song, he’s simply expressing his thoughts within a rhyme. talks about things that people think everyday, but don’t say in my opinion.

2. smooth intro into a dynamic bass compilation. kw spitting bars on point with every que; paired with a melodic hook. i’d expect nothing else than at least one radio play song.

3. the dynamic bass lines; iconic kw samples place strategically throughout the track. the various vocal ranges on the song and the movement keeps you intrigued. definitely worth more than one listen.

4. he talked about how things were being portrayed from a 3rd person view; also aiming at reveling first person views. the simple drums, accompanied by the harmonic vocals on the track. he expresses things that went on between him and kim within the process.

5. leave it to kanye to never let us down in the production area. this track seems like an apology of some sorts. as if he feels like he let someone down for things he chose to do but all in all it should be fine

6. this beat is complex all in all. I can feel church vibes, early blues, rock, accompanied by hip hop. the song simply to me tells a tale of a kid trying to live up to his own dream, by doing it all his own way
