so yeah me personally, id be put off by slash trying to team up suddenly and even MORE put off by him forming this random team (of reformed villains) out of the blue, & trying to dismiss his homicidal actions & hatred towards the turtles that lasted a Significant amount of time after mutation as “mutagen rage.” like it seems like the switch-up to allyship wouldnt have happened if he really was so under the influence of mutagen, and the rage would have been much shorter in duration like other characters, not lasting apparent weeks-months.

i mean, it is canon in the show that almost every person/animal who goes through mutation usually ends up being at least somewhat volatile for a period after, to be fair. but in a more meta sense, these periods of volatility are usually used as a way to introduce a villain or conflict and short in duration if we see the character more than once. so it makes sense for slash to have some kind of volatility after mutating, just not for so long and reversed by thinking rationally rather than external influence
