We’re halfway through the year, so what is the best/your favourite book that you’ve read so far in 2026?

I have been working my way through T. Kingfisher’s bibliography and having a whale of a time, truly could put any of hers on here, but for whatever reason I am selecting A House with Good Bones! Southern horror really works for me despite only being Southern through my grandma, and this one (about a woman whose family house is Extremely Haunted by some fucked-up shit her grandmother did) was exactly my jam.
