First day of band camp today
It was beautiful and horrible and fun and... The worst. It was so hot, but the music this year's super super fun and was relatively easy to get like basics down. And four new cadences ?! Oooh I'm so excited to see those tomorrow!!! Ajdowofi i love marching szn so much. Oh and my ex, who's part of my section, wasn't here today so first day was just a lil more peak. Glad I didn't have to deal with the awkwardness.

I've had the same Spotify account since 2020~ ish and this was in my 2022 wrapped (listening to that randomly, I got curious). It's just strange that I'm so nostalgic over it, like I'm not unhappy but .. "hmmm???mmm" ya know???!? Lit the only song in hazbin that I actually have a problem with is Loser, Baby.
See, near the end, in the show, a character runs in and cuts off husk and angel with, "the fuck, they're singing?" And it's the funniest thing ever. BUTTT, the song ends like through Spotify with them finishing the lyric. And as much as it's.. great .. to get the full song, ALL THE OTHER HAZBIN SONGS INCLUDE THE CUT OFF THINGS,(okay except, I'm pretty sure, that Losing Streak is also different and angel finishes his line instead of saying "good luck out there, boys".. I think)
BUT OF ALL SONGS, WHICH DO HAVE THE CUT OFFS AND DIALOGUE, THIS IS THE ONLY ONE I ACTUALLY WANT IT IN. ofc I don't hate the other songs, I just would prefer less dialogue.

I've cut my bangs far too short.. but in a good way. Back in the day, (2 years ago~), my hair reached the end of my tailbone, all of it around the same length. Gorgeous and straight, natural highlights from sun exposure. Beautiful, and golden. Sigh, but one day—in a fit of dysphoria I chopped most of it off, to a horrid "fuckass" bob. I loved it for a while actually, I called it a "'fuckass' bob" almost every day, out of admiration. It was nice, just not my style. So I spent a couple months, every few weeks, cutting my hair a little, shaping it up. But, I'd usually cut all of it. To keep the same cut, (not the bob, by now it's transformed into... A wolf cut but if it didn't really go past your jaw,), I'd cut equal ish amounts off every bit. Now, I want longer hair, so I simply planned to grow it out. But my bangs are a problem. I want them over my forehead like usual, but they're so long they go past my chin—over my face. So I cut them the amount id usually cut my hair, but it's been months since my last trim and I used to do it every month, so it was a pretty big difference. It's very bowl cut... buttt only the bangs. And I don't hate it, and I think they'll grow out the perfect amount by the time I have to start school! (Band camp though... That's going to be rough.)
I just wanted to yap about that for a little.
And ofc, blink pulling in to force my reminiscence. Storytime about how my friend who's named after a gun totally led me on and we had the most romantic and intimate relationship I'd known, just for him to "not be gay" just a bit after, next? I just like talking.

So, my mom got me into this app. I'm thankful yo have a mother who introduced me to fanfiction, anime, novels, and other "Tumblr nerd" things around the age of 8. (I'd also like to clarify she only introduced me to the sfw sides of all of that !!), she's even told me I'm, "allowed" a deviantart(?) profile. Which I didn't even know what that is. Now, before creating my account id already scrolled Tumblr once or twice, any fan fiction fien has, I think.. but anyways, back to my very first point, my momma got me into Tumblr, and yesterday she offered to "take a Tumblr photo" for me. We were sitting in the car, driving to do out errands, and I said, "what's that." The next time we stopped in a parking lot, she moved the passenger sideview window, and positioned me accordingly.
And this is what I was given. She was very adamant about how Tumblr is a "face-less" and an "anonymous" kinda place. It's more about WHO you are, not who you present as. And I really do love that. Also, is like to say I like that I can mark and crop photos that I wanna upload to a thingy. That's nice.
(she also described how on Myspace you could add music to basically anything, and she had different songs for each of her top 8, and every section of their profile had different songs.)
And a lil bit of tea, from her teenhood. Character A is a boy, B is a girl, they are friends. C is A's girlfriend.
A and B were talking, messaging back and forth(or maybe commenting? Now that I'm thinking about how my mother phrased it), character A, while talking to b, sent a message with the song, "lips of an angel" now kind you, character C was watching the whole time...

Working on a piece rn it's jsut the background, really.
I plan to sketch a table, chair, bedframe(canopy style,) and detail the everything. I haven't worked on a background this big or detailed yet. (I also want to put books or other things on the bookshelf on the right wall.)
I've thought about adding a character or couple but I don't have any ocs and I don't really have anyone in mind lol.
