âOh, you know, I was in the neighborhood, thought Iâd drop by, see if you need anything,â he smirked, leaning on her doorframe. Hopper chuckled a bit. âOh, you know me so well, Bee. Though, correct me if Iâm wrong,â he leaned in a bit, still looming over her small frame, that teasing smirk never leaving his face. âI thought you liked it when I get like that.â
âI always need something,â she said before rolling her eyes at his stupid nickname for her. As she looked up at him she took a step back. She didnât need him to get too comfy right away and knowing LenâŚoh he would. âSometimes I do. Sometimes I donât. My mind changes a lot, Lenny. You have to keep up.â
âWell, itâs your lucky day because Iâve got lots to give,â he said, a smirk spreading across his face. âOh, yeah, mhmm,â he nodded, taking another step in, just leaning against the door jamb. âIm usually a little busy in other ways when Iâm in your company, and you know I never struggle with keeping up.â Len teased. He did glare at her a bit for the nickname. âBut, oh well, if youâre such an indecisive little thing, Iâll take my business elsewhere. Got lots to push and even more people willing to buy, so if youâve changed your mind, maybe Iâll just go see what someone else is up to.â Even though it wouldnât be the same, he thought. So hopefully she doesnât just shut the door on him.
