Just a calm sea..

The colours and lights of nature are absolutely stunning. And trying to capture their feeling is just fun. I know sunsets are an old cliche - but this is not going to stop me to just paint them over and over again, I just love them too much. Might be boring, but it's not for me :)

I hope you all have a wonderful new year! It's a busy time right now, and I have actually not be creating anything new since a good while - but's thats okay, times change and creating itself is not everything. However, I still have a good amount art to share! Some pieces are of course not my favorites, but eh, I'll just share them in the next couple of weeks anyway. More often than not my own opinion of my paintings differ widely from others anyway. And on another note, I got some of my paintings professionally photographes, just to see the difference, and it's huge! Let's see what I can do with this!

It's been a while, hasn't it? Life has been a bit hectic the last couple of months, so didn't find the time to upload paintings. However, I have still been quite productive! So there are many pieces that are just waiting to be shared! Anyway, in this painting I wanted to capture the feeling of live glowing from a forest, playing with light on the canvas. It's again quite different from my usual landscape paintings, but you'll see more virety from me soon anyway :)

Ivercaimbe Beach - aiming to capture the magical play of light and sea. I treasure many cheerful childhood memories of this truly beautiful beach. Swimming in the sea, climbin at rocks, and many many hours of just watching the most stunning sunsets I have ever seen. I am truly happy to share this very personal painting!

Once my backlog of paintings that I really want to share is gone out, I am going to post way less often - especially since it's quite a stressfull time for me. However, this experience, and all of you who like, reblog and comment on my art, is really a boost of motivation! So, THANK YOU!
