Alright, TOMORROW is the day I lock the fuck in on both my schoolwork and my writing. And this time I kind of do have to follow through. At least on my schoolwork.

Sometimes some of you are far too polite. I just saw someone get an anon message that basically said “I don’t like your writing and I don’t get why anyone likes it”. And the person receiving it responded with a very long very polite message. What are you doing man tell them to fuck off or delete it.

FWIW I always try to respond properly to anon abuse just because that's also processing. If I just deleted it or went "lol fuck off" it'd stick with me but once I've tried in good faith to understand their position and respond sincerely, the book is closed.

Not to be rude but this post was about one specific post I saw. If it helps you or anyone else to attempt to sincerely respond to anon hate I’m glad, but considering that this person said within the response that they usually don’t respond to anon hate I don’t think that’s the case for them.

Locking the fuck in this weekend so I can get a good chunk of this stupid ass fic done.

Well. I got a little bit of writing done today at least. No locking in occurred though.

Sometimes I will read a fic or an AU concept and go wow. These characters are unrecognizable.

Still reading the Stranger Things fic that inspired me to make this post. These characters might be unrecognizable to the point where I honestly wonder why the author(s) didn’t just write original fiction and the plot might just seemingly be trauma porn for 400k words but those writers can WRITE.
