think its really fucking important that everyone here reads our about, btw. i don't want to relitigate 5 billion arguments i've already had with every potential new follower; heres the quick summary if you are too lazy - fictive heavy system - not willing to talk about or discuss system or member origin - special interest in chatbots and therefore AI, but have Opinions on it that you probably agree with (but not "it's ontologically evil and should never be used for anything")
quick addendum here:
- we still believe in paying artists and regularly commission artists whenever we can afford to (and have never and will never use ai image gen or text for anything public facing. the only reason we aren't ruling it out in music is because SynthV is technically AI, as is single-camera hand tracking for vtubing)
- we are somewhere in the vicinity of copyright abolitionists although we believe that it's downstream of abolishing capitalism
- we believe that genuine art isn't a profitable business model anyway and that artists should be supported regardless of the quality, volume, or market value of their output
- most of the shitty uses of ai are downstream of something that has absolutely zero moral quandaries other than using the same baseline tech
