And here comes my next stitching project! I hope @dilfosaur won't begrudge me for the colors being off, I'm trying to do this as a stash busting project and hoping to not buy any thread! (I'm already planning on taking out that gray and switching for a paler shade if I have one in my second stash lol) I'm going to be waiting to put down the other half of the design so it doesn't get too badly creased in the hoop, and I'm estimating that this will be a 300-hour project. Wish me luck!

Stitching complete after 54 hours! Now I'm going to try to dye the threads with fabric medium and acrylic paint to make it the more worn sepia tone of the art!

Hey Drawfreaks, guess who is going insane and turning Nathan's Halloween piece into a 11×19in embroidery piece!

Here's the first 10 hours of progress! The red looks much brighter because of the angle of the light hitting it, but I'm using DMC 814 for the shadows, which is a nice dark red!

35 hours in and we're finally ready to start on the bunny!

40 hour update!

Here it is! 56 hours of stitching! As soon as I can afford it I'll probably mount it in a frame! But as my first piece this big and as only like my 8th embroidery piece ever, I'm very happy with the results!

You pretended to like baldurs gate 3 for 1 mutual but in reality you never played it and have vowed to never play it ever in your life.

Not really. Bought the game, played the tutorial level, but a glitch knocked me out and I haven't picked it back up since because I've been too busy for it. I'm not the type of person to pretend to enjoy something I don't.

Also, this game is from 2019, it's well and truly closed

21.5 hours in, and I finally finished the dark red! I'm experimenting with using less threads to suggest depth, but I think I'm only going to really see it when I start on those rocks! Wish my luck!

Edit: I tagged it and mentioned it in the first post about the start of this project, but just to be super clear, this is fanart of Nathan's Halloween piece, not my original design! I'm just having some fun turning it into embroidery!
