I love peachplum for sooo many reasons. They have such a beautifully complex relationship. I think it’s really beautiful how their characters interact with each other, in this sort of toxic push and pull. Because as individuals they’re so nuanced (and flawed), their relationship really reflects that. They’re like..shattered mirrors of each other, every missing and broken piece a shard of their past that ultimately turned their persons into such different people. I don’t know how to explain, lol. But their wants, they’re so similar. I’ll probably make a separate post that goes into detail about this, but something that’s really become apparent to me is their mutual desire for sincere relationships, and it’s just so tragic when you consider how that is also their downfall.
