Only 5 more days left to get your donations in for Paws in the Park! All proceeds go towards the Orlando Pet Alliance! Follow the link here to donate: http://pago.convio.net/goto/LeiliaSpaniel Please help to share and spread the word for this great cause, and be sure to check out the actual event this Saturday if you are in Orlando! :D
Alright, think I’m going to call the painting on her done! I’m honestly feeling pretty proud of this piece. :)
Here’s a reminder that I’m still working towards raising money for Paws in the Park! All donations go to the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando to help pets in need! You can donate by visiting this page: http://pago.convio.net/goto/LeiliaSpaniel
Please share with you friends and help spread the word for this great cause!
And don’t forget, the actual event is on February 13th at Lake Eola if you are local and want to attend! I would love to see some of you there!
My fundraiser for Paws in the Park is still going strong! Thank you so very much to everyone that has donated or spread the word about the cause so far. I am happy to say that I reached my original goal of $100, so I have upped my goal now to $300. Lets see if we can make that happen! :D

A few people have expressed interest in donating using PayPal, however the donation page apparently does not accept Paypal donations. If you want to use Paypal and are comfortable sending the funds to me, I can deposit the funds into the donation page myself. I'll send you a screenshot of the donation as confirmation that your donation goes directly to the shelter. Here is a link to my Paypal: https://www.paypal.me/Leilia
I also wanted to mention that at the request of the event runners, I will not be performing in suit at the actual event. I am saddened, but the event coordinator had very good reasons(Official Disney mascots being at the event was a big one) and was incredibly kind. I still plan to attend Paws in the Park in person, and hope that any other Orlando locals will join me!
Thanks again! <3

Leilia Spaniel Plush by Bubble-Rhapsody
I finished this plush ages ago but it took some time to find the exact color of marker to use for her freckles :) Made from minky fabrics, with realistic plastic safety nose (large), embroidered eyes and thread pulled smile and toes. She’s around 8-9 inches, maybe a little bigger :) This was made as an art trade with @leiliaclay
*screams forever at how cute this is*
Wait, so I must be really old then, because I remember when they were round, and THEN became fruit shapes, and then went back to their original look. XD

More progress on the clouded leopard bust! Still a lot of work but I’m liking how is it turning out. :D

Working on a bust of a clouded leopard character! Hoping she will look pretty cool when finished. :D
I have an important message I would like to share with you all! I will be participating in group fundraising event for Paws in the Park this year! We will be raising donations to benefit Orlando's local shelter, the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando, and would love for you to help out either by donating, joining the group fundraiser, or by spreading the word as much as you can! Here is the link to my page where you can choose to donate or join the fundraising: http://pago.convio.net/goto/LeiliaSpaniel And if you are local, be sure to check out the Paws in the Park event on Saturday, February 13th! I will be planning a meetup for members of the fundraising group that day! Please share this and spread the word to all your friends! :D
Need to touch it up before molding, but I think I like this ratty! Definitely going with magnet. Maybe also brooch style pins, but even then I think it’s a bit big for that.
*Sculpted in Monster Clay(no, it is not chocolate ;) )
Finally back in the sculpting groove after the holidays!
I’m working on some ideas for simpler pendants and such for conventions. Here is a very rough work in progress of the first idea I have, a little ratty. :) would make a cute magnet, I think. Maybe too big for a necklace/pendant? What do you guys think?

2016 Convention Plans, Commission Slots Reminder
I can’t believe that 2015 is over! It was a very interesting year for me, lots of exciting changes and new things! I’m very interested in what 2016 will bring. :) With that said, here is my schedule for conventions this year:
Furry Weekend Atlanta-Dealer, sharing with @goldendruid This will be my first time at FWA, I’m very much looking forward to it!
Megaplex-Dealer This will be I think my sixth Megaplex, and third time in the Dealer’s Den. Really excited about the new hotel!
Midwest Furfest-Hopefully! I really loved going to MFF last year, so I would definitely like to try and go again this year if finances allow. If I do I would like to go for fun again, and not worry about the stress of running a table. :)
That’s pretty much it! I’d like to try and attend the local Elliott’s events again, and maybe do some suiting at other local cons and such.
Also another reminder that I am open for a few commission slots for FWA completion. Pick-up at FWA is preferred, but if you are not able to attend and are still interested in something, let me know and we may be able to work something out. Commission information and form can be found here:

Before the computing era, ILM was the master of oil matte painting, making audiences believe that some of the sets in the original Star Wars and Indiana Jones trilogy were real when they weren’t. They were the work of geniuses like Chris Evans, Michael Pangrazio, Frank Ordaz, Harrison Ellenshaw and Ralph McQuarrie ! Forever thank you, to their handmade art and the work of their colleagues, that made us dream of impossible worlds and fantastic places across Earth and the Universe.
There are more background paintings on this article, featuring comments by the masters/artists themselves !
Some of the following pieces were made by other artists 2:
Chris Evans, Michael Pangrazio, Frank Ordaz, Harrison Ellenshaw and Ralph McQuarrie
I’ve been watching these movies since I was a little kid and I thought this whole time these were set pieces :o Hoooly crap, nothing but respect for these artists.
This is beyond cool!!
