My hell is over. Freed from the Allstar Baseball insanity. So tired though, I think I almost got sick from the heat? So resting in my cold dim room.
Time to recover, possibly sleep most of tomorrow away, and poke around my games and try to finish watching TADC now that I can devote energy to things.

I survived Baseball Day 3 (of 4). Barely. Dear god the crowds were so much more dense and loud, I could feel the vibrations and hear them even with the music on full blast.
And somehow I almost fell asleep a few times in my seat as the night stretched on.
Home, gonna sleep now. Thank god tomorrow is the last day. Potentially the worst day.
Okay so downside: I'm trapped in Baseball Megahell for four days straight because someone I love loves the local team and was way too excited about the AllStar game.
Upside: day 2 is officially over. Tomorrow will be worse. And the last day will be EXTREMELY bad when it comes to crowds and everything.
Bigger upside: I just noticed that Type Help's paid 3D remake is coming out on the last day. AND D-Topia is also coming out on the same day. So. Yay. Something to look forward to.

Went and saw Citizen Kane 85th anniversary as a treat but uh... How is it the 85th anniversary when the dates for the theatrical release in 1941 are in May and September? Am I missing something?
This sounds like a shitpost but people should be allowed to be horny. As in, sexuality is just part of life for most people and thereβs no reason for consensual sexual behavior to be punished. A celebrity getting βcaughtβ at a sex club shouldnβt be a scandal. No one should be fired for having a fetlife profile outside of work. Nudes getting leaked shouldnβt be career-ending. Denying and hiding (consensual) sexual interests doesnβt make anyone more professional, it just makes everyone more repressed. And sterilizing ourselves to be better work drones isnβt productive, itβs just creepy. Iβd rather my surgeon get absolutely railed on camera and come to work in a good mood, frankly.

okay but imagine how inconvenient the streets of Central City, Amestris, is. Like yeah yeah country wide alchemy circle aside- can you IMAGINE the traffic? Like for the Love of Truth can we add another lane on this road?? The cars are backed up for miles! The urban planning board must be the sorriest people in the world. They got no clue what an alchemist circle looks like BUT the Fuhrer keeps showing up for an ominous visit every time they try to get a modicum of reasonable city layout. The zoning laws have got to be pure evil.

I understand the joke but like... my city is a square and was designed from the ground up as a grid so I don't see any real problems? Its a circle-grid but I don't see random dead ends or twisting roads that don't have alternate paths. City density and layout feels a bit more NYC honestly and while traffic there is bad it does have workarounds and is walkable. Rushhour will be a bitch given about double the main roads, and if there's random redirects due to repairs or blocked streets it'll piss off everyone but its all workable. But with how accustomed people will be to it there's not gonna be that many traffic problems around the center or main roads. The issue will be a lot of random smaller streets when people are gunning the corners.
That said the main roads are actually insanely wide (at least in the various anime adaptions, been a while since I read the manga). A bad pileup could cause a shitton of damage yeah but on an average day it doesn't look that bad.
Okay dead honest I thought there were just like 5 episodes of TADC plus the film.

the next pokemon game will have no pokemon and cost $150
I know we're tempting fate (and giving them ideas) but we did get games with a chopped up Dex yet DLC access to the missing mons but not no Pokemon. So I'm picturing no Starter, no Balls, just running some kind of PokeStar type thing with an artificial mon-standin. For the whole game until you pay whatever extra for the DLC at which point you do get a Starter and Pokeballs. And until the DLC release date, all WiFi / Codes are for items and bonus quests. Only after the DLC release date would we start to get Mystery Gift Mons.
And the DLC would be about $60 of that $150. Not even a Season Pass just the first chunk (assuming any others would exist).

I honestly think Gen-Z and younger simply does not understand how recent widespread smartphone adoption is.
I am not that old, and I didn't have a smartphone until probably late high school. For most of my life, many if not most people were not walking around with a magic internet machine in their pocket that they pulled out and used constantly for everything.
