Pro tip: if you’re starting to feel overwhelmed, STOP IMMEDIATELY AND TAKE A DAMN BREAK. Whether you’re overwhelmed by laundry or college or whatever, just pause and take a minute. Whether that minute is a literal minute or a day or a month or a year will depend heavily on what’s causing your stress, but do not “just push through it” ESPECIALLY not if you’re one of my lovely neurospicy friends. Find a therapist. Look into medication if recommended to do so. DO NOT PUSH THROUGH OVERWHELM THINKING IT WILL MAGICALLY GET BETTER. IT WILL NOT.
