I wanted to post my male OC and Julie's B-side to the Resident Evil Fanfic that I've been working on since yesterday.
Like Julie, Ren has his own Original story that I've written for him too. But His Role is a bit more prominent in my original universe because he's the 2nd Protagonist of my Original story The Biohazard Legacy. His Prequel book where it highlights his backstory is The Bio-Hazard Generation Project. Both stories I Will be posting here in the near future but for now I will highlight his role in RE: Julie's Story and basic information.
Like in his OG Story, he was unwillingly experimented on. Though instead of it happening when he was 19. It happened to him in his later Adult years some time after he created Lady Seraphim's Laser Orbs and Julie's Suppressant Serum for her abilities.
He was injected with the same Parasite as Julie, however, Instead of having the glorious and dramatic triple Snowy Owl Wings. He ended up with Black Swan Wings and a Dark Form. Yep... The deranged scientist who ran the experimentation was hoping to make Ren a perfect Bio Weapon. Too Bad Ren's mind is too strong and he decided to turn against that Scientist and caused his Facility to self-destruct. Because... It's Resident Evil, of course the lab will blow. Ren bears a mark that says Project Biohazard 01 on his shoulder blade now and he eventually becomes the infamous Rogue Agent 01 who exposes the Government's corruption.
Basic Original Information

Ren can be on the blunt and abrasive side. But he does have a good heart and a high sense of justice, For someone who is a genius he can be caring and empathetic. He's also sensitive if you can break his smooth and serious exterior. He's also very perceptive and not easily fooled which sometimes contributes to his paranoia.
Likes: Inventing (that's his hobby), reading, learning new things, Solving Mysteries and cases, playing bass guitar (He was formerly a Guitarist), singing and cooking.
Dislikes: Dr. Manson Steel, Toxic, Being trapped or captured, people who try to deceive him, People with God complexes and AI Robots that are supernaturally sentient.
☢︎︎Base Powers☢︎︎
Ren's original or destined abilities were to have Darkness manipulation, though his darkness is a shadow type darkness. But he leaves those powers dormant due to some weird entity that keeps trying to take over his body. The only thing he uses from that is his black swan like angel wings. Though Ren does have artificial abilities due to him being experimented on. Those will be the highlights of his abilities since he uses them.
☢︎︎Skills/Abilities☢︎︎
Toxicokinetic combat/Poison Immunity- Ren can down lethal poison and be totally fine for the most part, He can even use the poison against his enemies or opponents through his breath or the acid that he produces through his body. It can also act as a healing agent to himself or others if he drinks a healing potion or medicine. The only downside is if it's a new poison it takes him 3 days to get used to it, though while he's trying to get used to it he'll suffer the symptoms of that new poison. Also he can never get used to Chloroform for some odd reason.
Oh, and it takes 15 minutes for the poison effects to wear off so he puts a special gas mask over his mouth to not affect innocent people.
Nonexistent/Dark Void Teleportation- Ren can teleport, but when he teleports, it's like he doesn't exist. He can't be tracked at all when he teleports, it would be like trying to track a ghost or a wraith. This can be a good or bad thing depending on his situation. Though it can be a disadvantage if he's dazed, injured or dizzy, he has teleported in the wrong places and almost gotten himself killed, people couldn't find him to help him out either. So you can see why he sparsely uses it.
He can teleport if he can clearly Envision the location, that would be through pictures and location. Sometimes it's through a bond with a close friend's presence/aura but that's only if he has a clear reading. If he doesn't have a clear location or reading he may end up on another side of the world, which is why he doesn't teleport at random. In other words it can be as little as 10 ft to 20,000 km if he's not careful.
Oxygen Control- This is a last resort ability, and it takes a while to use it again. He can take away someone's oxygen or make it harder for someone to breathe either slowing the person down or annihilating them in an instant. He doesn't use this ability much only in real desperate situations and it takes him 3 weeks to use it again because it takes a strain on his body. It's a last resort move that he rarely if never uses. Plus, it can also annihilate him, because he's taking away his own oxygen also. He can only restrict one person at a time's breathing. Though he can only knock the wind out of 1 Person at a time.
Blue fire Manipulation- They're called Blue Bio Fire/Flames Manipulation, or Flames of Purgatory…. Yet they kinda just work as regular flames but seem to hurt way more than normal fire. They can turn people into ash within seconds due to the mixture of acidic elements with the flames. However, with metahumans it will take more time to accomplish that. It also doesn't harm innocent people.
Dark Form- Ren has a dark form. Which is why he doesn't even try to get attuned with it. The entity has a mind of its own, though his dark form is very weak to pure light, electricity and purification.

So I got this question from some of my friends on discord about "Why do I ship my OC Liz [Bioverse version] with Leon?" So here I am about to break it down
Let's start with the obvious. Liz is not Ada. Le Gasp!
Well duh, we know that. However, she's still interesting and unique in her own way; One example is she's an Alien Hybrid (Part Alien/part Human), that went from princess forced into Exile to Cosmic Warrior. Also, like Ada and Shin-Mei she doesn't fall for Leon straight off or is all over him.
Actually, Liz was quite dodgy, Nonchalant or just straight up unimpressed towards Leon's Charm and exudes a lot of confidence even in her early years. She also has the hands to back it up too and has thrown a few of them towards Leon's direction. He kept getting her in her way at one point.
Of course she had to hold back because... She has some insane abilities. Though even without her abilities she's still skilled enough to stand on her own. Plus she's also had military training herself so I don't think holding back would've mattered. 😭
Liz: "Lol Get good~"
A little backstory to Liz and her family. The only reason Liz hasn't blown the whole Bioverse into smithereens is because her Dad, Slade Astreí, Taught her early on not to be that ruthless; or they would have just a Star version of Dawn. He even expressed that to his Wife, Galaxyne Astreí, and she agreed with him on that.
I find it a bit interesting how They knew Dawn had issues even back then but still gets "bodied" by her... Because... ✨Tragic Character Development! Yay!✨ (Probably write a deeper dive lore for them later on.)
Due to Slade teaching Liz at an early age, he actually managed to humanize her. Where as for Dawn; she never had any humanity in the first place because she came from two separate Alien parents. Dawn favored the cold and harshness of her father unfortunately, while craving and obsessing over the powers of Galaxyne. Dawn despises Slade, she finds his emotions weak. She thinks having humanity is weak. (There is nothing humane about Dawn...)
When Slade died, Seth Jackson, Liz's Foster Father picked up his mantle and continued to guide Liz and care for her. (Since Seth and Slade were close Childhood Friends)
So why is Liz compatible with Leon?
Because they would understand each other on a deeper and emotional level.
If we take a look at Leon's side, his family were a bunch of criminals/crime lords. If they were still alive he would probably follow down that path. However, they got killed and he was the sole survivor. He was adopted by a cop, therefore becoming a cop himself.
If Galaxyne and Slade were still alive, Liz definitely would've eventually taken the Throne and been the next heir to follow in Galaxyne's footsteps because she REALLY wanted Liz to rule. But they also got killed thanks to Dawn's Tyranny. Liz ended up being adopted by Seth Jackson who is a Time Cop in the Bioverse, Liz didn't want to be a Time Cop... BUT she follows Slade's footsteps and becomes an Agent. Something that Slade didn't want for Liz by the way.🤦🏼
If both Leon and Liz's Parents were still alive we don't know Where Leon and Liz would end up or how they would be.
On that note they shared some similar sentiment.
If that doesn't convince anyone, there's the relationship aspect.
Leon gets dumped by his Ex-Girlfriend & gets burned by Ada twice
And K.C. cheats on Liz then uses the lame ass excuse that she's not "interesting enough" (And the sky isn't blue K.C., wtf is wrong with you???). Oh... Plus Dawn betrays her.
Needless to say, they're both guarded & Don't straight up trust people that easily.
Does Liz Dislike Ada?
Short answer? No. She's not even threatened by Ada. Maybe Julie or Chelsea may look at her as a rival/threat (huge maybe). But Liz? No.
She's neutral towards Ada. She knows to observe her from afar and knows that Ada is not someone you deal business with unless you have a backup plan to outsmart her. If anything Liz would probably get under Ada's skin because she knows way too much and she learned fast due to her sister.
What Liz doesn't like about Ada is that she burned Leon too many times and never apologized for it. But Liz dislikes Ada's actions, not Ada herself. Liz sees potential in Ada and wishes she actually does better in life.
However, Liz knows if Ada crosses the line, hurts Leon, Chelsea, Julie or any of her friends and becomes an enemy; she will be treated like one until she has a change of heart and does the right thing. Although, Liz cannot speak for the rest of the Legacy X Crew... Some Consequences cannot be stopped when trust is broken.
Hell,Liz doesn't care who Leon dates as long as they treat him right and he's happy she's fine.
Does Leon dislike K.C.- Don't even play. Yes. Everyone Dislikes K.C. Even Ada Dislikes K.C. which is a valid Crashout because he cheated on Liz. Even Ada has standards.
What happened with Julie and Leon? This was a question one of my close friends on Discord asked. Have I given up on Leon x Julie/Leolie?
No, I just have a new fixation with Liz. I don't mind writing a fanfic about Julie and Leon again. She's a strong runner up. But right now I want to focus on Resident Evil and The Biohazard Legacy. What better way to do it than putting Two Golden Children together. (That's a joke I love most my OCs and most of the Resident Evil Cast)
What is Julie and Chelsea's dynamic with Liz since they both had feelings for Leon previously? Though Julie and Chelsea are canonically friendly Rivals in the Bioverse (More Lore on that later on) They both have common ground that they want to see Liz happy. Liz has put her feelings aside to try to save and protect her friends and the fate of the universe for years...
She pretends that she's fine and feels like she doesn't deserve to be with anyone because she has her duties. Liz is satisfied with being single and maybe even alone. Yet what worries her friends is when she starts isolating herself when things get too heavy. That is a major flaw about Liz, she hides her emotions behind a smile until it gets too much for her to bear and then she disappears for a while.
Liz was the first person to figure out that Dr.Manson was using Chelsea and even tipped off Julie to stop, think and look deeper. Liz has comforted Julie in the darkest times and refused to leave her alone with her thoughts.
So... What has Liz done for Leon?
Even though Liz may give Leon a hard time and enjoys their playful cat & mouse Game. She will drop the act in a heartbeat if Leon is in danger.
That's with anyone, if her friends or anyone close to her is in danger during a mission; you bet she's going to abandon it to save them first. To hell with the mission. Liz is not afraid to make Sacrifices and be a supporter or someone in Leon's corner when he needs it.
Liz is truly a Kind, Sweet and Caring person despite her flaws, Mischief and Occasional pettiness (Though she has valid reasons to be petty sometimes, she's not consistently petty.)
Leon just wishes she'd stop being an Altruist for the universe and sacrificing herself. Though he can't talk because he would do the same thing so... UGH!
Also, once Liz becomes Leon's girlfriend she adapts to it. When she loves, she loves deeply. She cares deeply for him but she also works with him.
They work with each other. Their relationship is far from perfect, but they're helping each other. They have their moments, they argue every couple has their days and disagreements. But they never go to bed angry. They swallow their pride and make it right with each other. They not only love each other, they cherish, appreciate and admire each other. Leon and Liz ground each other and have a mutual respect for each other.
Though sometimes they're not good with words, they show their love with their actions.
Yeah Leon and Liz Tease each other, get on each other's nerves and sometimes Liz Laughs at his Cheesy One-Liners and another time she may not. But they are fiercely loyal to each other. They're in it no matter the good or the bad. No one gets left behind...

WIP of Young Liz/Last year of Titanium Ridge Highschool Era. I saw that she had SIX Fingers. And I redrew her hand. I also gave back Liz's 2020-2021 Rebellious makeup look. I wanted her to have a bit of Edginess since she was originally a Punk Rocker/Alt Girl.
Lol, She's going to be trouble for Leon, I can already tell. I gave young Liz the title/nickname Fallen Star and I'm sticking with it.

I'm moving into my new Apartment today (hopefully). So, I'll be back in business with drawing again. Since people now want to buy stuff for me, I'm looking into making prints more seriously. I wasn't able to make them because I had things going on. But since this year's GalaxyCon, it got me to thinking about it more. It got me thinking about a lot of things actually and I want to do more. Nick, my new friends and My true supporters are telling me to keep going, that's exactly what I'm going to do.
I'm moving into my new Apartment today (hopefully). So, I'll be back in business with drawing again. Since people now want to buy stuff for me, I'm looking into making prints more seriously. I wasn't able to make them because I had things going on. But since this year's GalaxyCon, it got me to thinking about it more. Alright, I got almost everything for GalaxyCon. I will be picking up the prints tomorrow. I decided to Cosplay as Leon because cosplay as Ada in North Carolina heat is just asking for it. I'll be giving Nick Apostolides 2 of my prints and I'll have him sign Bioverse AU Leon without the face guard. Also tomorrow is my B-day.
I was going to get contacts but I didn't feel like poking my eyes out. 💀
