Fairy/Dragon Eeveelutions are an unusual sight in the wild, created when Dragon and Fairy-types - natural enemies - join together to raise an Eevee. These Eeveelutions, named Mytheon for their rareness, possess thick, armor-like scales around their chest that protect their vital organs from the brunt of any attacks. Their transparent, chitinous wings are stronger than they look, allowing these Pokemon to traverse their large territory with ease. Mytheon have a habit of ‘adopting’ weak or injured Pokemon and taking them under their wing, protecting them against larger threats. Able to affect the emotions of those around them, they exude a aura that can either induce deep calm or an intimidating fear. Usually preferring to avoid a battle, Mytheon are fierce fighters if provoked and have a tendency to be territorial. You can easily get in their good graces by offering them anything sweet or shiny to add to their collection of goods.

and no, this isn’t me saying “write that messed up, disgusting thing” because while, yes, write it if it’s what you want (I myself enjoy writing dark fics, something I believe would be considered “vile” to a lot of people), this is me saying in a world of censorship and capitalism, ao3 really is a treasure.

✧ Broken ribs suck. You don’t just “walk it off.” Breathing hurts. Laughing hurts. Existing hurts. Characters with rib injuries won’t be doing heroic sprints.

✧ Concussions aren’t instant naps. Dazed vision, nausea, dizziness, maybe even personality changes, but they’re not going to collapse neatly like in the movies.

✧ Blood loss is sneaky. It’s not just about dramatic pools of blood. It’s dizziness, confusion, and the body getting cold as circulation tanks.

✧ Adrenaline lies. Someone can take a serious injury and not feel it until the fight’s over. That “I didn’t realize I was bleeding until later” trope? Very real.

✧ Twisted ankles are brutal. One bad step and suddenly running is off the table. Even walking hurts like hell. Perfect way to ground a chase scene.

✧ Burns linger. Even small burns hurt more than most people expect. Blisters, infection risk, constant pain, it’s not just a cool scar later.

✧ Dislocated shoulders = useless arm. Characters can’t keep swinging a sword or firing a gun. They’re basically fighting one-armed until it’s fixed.

#??? - On rare occasion, an Eevee can be affected by more than one environmental factor, and reacts to grow into a new, rare evolution. Eevee who live in the northernmost and southernmost regions, who are exposed frigid temperatures and either six months of sun or six months of moon, have a very high chance of evolving into a Dark/Ice or Psychic/Ice type, depending on when they were born. Dark/Ice Eeveelutions, named Arcteon, possess ‘horns’ and spikes made of solid ice that are capable of being fired off in a long-range attack. These ice structures break off if hit by a particularly strong attack, though they regrow within a day or two. If threatened, Arcteon may freeze the moisture around them, creating an instant flurry of snow that they can disappear into. Locals consider these Pokemon to be a bad omen, falsely blaming their appearances for times of famine; however, Arcteon are good-intentioned and faithful companions, attracted to those who have no greed in their heart.
