It finally snowed!!!

Maybe I am a little stressed about life rn. Hopefully some hot tea and a cozy couch nap will give me a breather.

It's a really slow evening. Slow enough to spend what feels like an hour staring into the mirror only for it to really be for like ten minutes. What are y'all up to tonight?

Had to stay after at work today to finish up some prep work for tomorrow. Very sleepy. Very thinky.

We set up our tree! >:3 It makes the living room look like it's got a neon vibe and I'm so here for it. Now to crash and wake up crazy early for more work tomorrow. See you guys!

My partner, Atticus, came home from work early! So we got to hang out and have dinner together. <3 Usually our schedules are the exact opposite, so it's super nice on days like these when we actually get to hang out! (Who knew we would see each other less when we moved in together than when we were long distance lmao)

Of course the first thing I do when I come home is spoil the boy--- whether I want to or not! Anybody else out there got a cat as clingy as mine?

Is it time to go home yet?

Like I said--- I'm an elementary school art teacher. So, my lunch breaks are usually just 25 minutes straight of me knowing I need to scarf down my food but ending up cleaning paint pallets for the entire time instead. Today is no different. :/

I cannot wait until after holiday break so we can finally move away from working with 2D stuff and painting. :') If I never have to put another thing on the drying rack for as long as I live, it'll still be too soon!

Lately, when I get to work it's before the sun even rises. I'm an elementary art teacher--- so believe me, it's gotta be this way or else the whole system falls apart. Not gonna lie though, the little bit of time I have before kiddos show up and fill the room with chaos is something pretty grounding. V peaceful.

Good morning! Today's fit before I'm off to work. Fingers crossed it's an easy day.

Not gonna lie y'all--- not much else got done today! Sometimes I think it's alright to just have a lazy day. I'm gonna have a snacky dinner and wait for my partner to come home so we can do the whole "kick this weeks butt" thing. See you tomorrow!

Next order of business: Make lunch for tomorrow and pack it up so there's no stress in the morning--- and then get RIGHT back into the pjs from earlier.

As soon as I got home I fed the beast. He's pouting because he thinks every time I come home with the grocery bags he's getting wet food again when really it was time for kibble.

Scratch the zoning out thing--- I realized I had to go to the grocery store to pick up some stuff for lunch/easy dinner this week and some cat food. All this energy just to go get snacks, smh.

Alright, I cleaned the kitchen, did the laundry, tidied up pretty much every other part of the house--- now it's time to zone out for like 6 straight hours and then wrap it all up by being anxious about work tomorrow before bed. Adult life, am I right folks?
