There was no heavenly light to announce her presence. No fancy robes draped around her. She looked like, for all intents and purposes, a human. This was her goal most of the time. Any act of Charity she did, she wanted others to believe it was just some normal person doing it. It was a lot easier to relate to these acts if people didn’t think they were coming from some heavenly figure. She wanted people to do these things not because of what she is, but because they legitimately feel the need to.  The blonde haired girl stood there at Kankri’s door, garbed in a very casual white shirt and dark blue jeans. On the front of her shirt was a stylized cat face, coloured pink and containing four eyes. She carried with her several boxes, each containing a fresh pumpkin pie for her new acquaintance. Tis the season for it, after all. Charity knocked against the door, and waited patiently for Kankri to answer. He had said that she could come over right now, so she didn’t expect a very long delay.

“Make yourself at home! And if you see a Persian cat around, feel free to pet her and hug her! Her name is Butters and she really is a sweetheart!”

If you’d like, you could come over now! I wouldn’t mind having company while I make it. It’s rather simple, actually.

Ah, it was my own fault for falling in love with him. Should have known better. In the end, he used it against me.
