Cicero was wise beyond his years
Made this hat. Pattern by Tony @dieselpunk.ro
Any time you need proof that the gun nuts are really nuts...
#1. Find a gun nut.
#2. Suggest we abolish all the gun control laws and replace them with the exact same laws we have on cars.
#3. Watch the veins in their forehead explode.
Fact is, the laws (âControlsâ) we have on cars donât keep anyone from driving, as one look at rush hour traffic will tell you. So, itâs impossible to âArgueâ that the same laws we already live comfortably with on cars could possibly deny anyoneâs âRightâ to own a gun. But, the nuts *Are* nuts after all, so no proposal, no matter how undeniably reasonable, will ever be acceptable to the gun nuts.
âŚthese are the same people who âArgueâ that itâs wrong to let an ex felon vote .even though itâs their constitutional right!
So what youâre suggesting is, for example, that
1) thereâd be no need for a background check any time I want to buy a gun
2)I could buy a gun that can fire 6000 rounds a minute and use it as much as I like as long as I never fire more than 20 rounds a minute
and 3) my gun license from Georgia or Alaska would have to be recognized by California and Chicago?
If we treated cars the way we treat guns:
1.) Your drivers license (the open carry permit) would not be valid in states like Massachusetts, who would have different rules for operating cars arbitrarily. Youâd need to meet the lofty requirements for each state that requires them in order for the authorities to respect your licenseâ validity.
2.) Cars would not be allowed to be produced that could go over 80 miles an hour, at all.
3.) Possessing certain automobile parts would be considered a felony. Adding them to the engine, also, would be a felony. Not misusing them, not reselling them, just having them. A felony. Their very existence would be considered felonious and ownership sign of criminal intent. Hood too long for the arbitrary designation? Felony. Bumper larger than regulation size? Felony. Your truckâs flatbed liner the wrong pattern, designated as âmilitary style/assault liner?â Felony.
4.) âmilitary styleâ cars (that is, cars that are camouflage or are big scary and black) or cars with scary tactical looking finishes, seats, wheels or headlights would be banned. NOBODY NEEDS ALL THAT POWER. Those wicked fully semi-auto transmission cars! You know, like how a bunch of those âassault riflesâ are only considered âmilitary styleâ because they have certain grips, furniture or stocks. And they have absolutely no difference in performance or action of the weapon. They donât make the bullets any bigger, smaller, faster, or accurate. People just assume âmilitary styleâ means your car is armored and made to go 200 MPH, rather than just be painted and ugly interior.
5.) Every time a drunk driver hit pedestrians, weâd have a big passive aggressive assembly about âwhat weâre going to do about this.â Assuming that thereâs anything that can or should be done. Usually revolves around the assembly callers browbeating people into the conclusion that we need to make owning cars harder, more expensive and maybe ban cars altogether in place of only allowing a special force of people to drive everybody around.
6.) Thereâd be heavy handed anti-car specials in kids shows making ownership of a car as a macho expression of having a dick. âWhy do you need one? lol everybody look at the insecure unenlightened wimp with the car. Cars kill people.â
7.) 18-wheelers would be considered Heavily Destructive Devices and youâd need a massive background check, a license, a federal tax stamp and to be subject to ârandom government checksâ just to make sure youâre not planning on using it for evil, since you easily could.
9.) Wanting to drive a car and not have someone arbitrarily limit the brand or the number of people that can fit in it would have you labeled a âcar nut.â
10.) A DUI would make you a felon.
Man this really didnât work out the way OP thought it would đ
You donât need a liscense to *buy* or even *drive* a car, so long as you drive it on your property.
Youâre also talking about levying a tax against a *right* which is a violation of the constitution.
Oh and, OP is of the mind that when it comes to gun control legislation, âgun nutsâ shouldnât be allowed to have an opinion or even vote on legislation designed to strip their rights.
You think Iâm kidding?
Any time you need proof that anti-gunners are Statist, authoritarian gimps, look at this post.
Guns are already banned in schools, most teenagers arenât allowed to own guns, and murder is illegal.
I suppose the government could start a âdonât commit mass murderâ campaign, but I doubt it would help.
Plus the OP ignores that every single restriction on firearms is the result of the government âdoing somethingâ in response to anti-gun lobbies who use bodies as platforms.
People just got tired of being told âTHIS time itâll work!!â for the 87th time while their rights are eroded in the name of âsafetyâ.

2nd attempt at a hatband
From The Point Politics on IG: - Destroyed 2016 ballots early - Left Medical Marijuana amendment off some Florida ballots in 2016 - Election results posted to election websites before polls closed - 1000 ballots found after 2012 elections - 58,000 mail-in ballots not delivered in 2004 - Failed to give 45 minute updates to the state on ballot results which is required by law. Add to this, for 15 years, Snipes has served as Broward Countyâs elections chief, for 15 years! During her tenure there have been very long lines with vote counts that go on long after polls closed with marred elections in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2012, 2016 and now 2018! #FireHer
Fuck firing. Bring charges

My new hat and my single action loadout
The anti-fascists group chanted "Tucker Carlson, we will fight." outside of Tucker's D.C. home. Carlson's wife was home alone and called police.
His wife was home alone at the time. Locked herself in a pantry and called the police.
He has four children.
The group broke his front door, and someone mentioned a pipe bomb.
If you havenât heard about this, ask yourself why.
Arm up, eyes up, head on swivel. If they breach your walls, muzzle flashes should be what they see next
Can you explain why you think only police should have guns?
Never did I specify that âonly police should have gunsâ but I support gun control. Gun control is not completely taking guns away. Gun control is when background checks are conducted. Gun control is when psychological evaluations are conducted in order to see if a person is fit for gun ownership. Gun control is when only people who are responsible enough to have possession of a gun can keep a gun without hurting others
Background checks, already law. People with a history of severe mental illness canât own guns. Next.
>any anti-gun Fudd ass says they âarenât against bansâ, but they want âcommon senseâ gun laws
>immediately names federal laws that already exist
Every time
When false accusations are automatically believed, accusations become power.
I have a problem when I get angry. The problem is that Iâve long ago learned â particularly in dealing with traditional publishers â to get depressed instead of letting myself go berserk. Mostly because when youâre dealing with publishers theyâre not near enough to vent your berserker on, so you just end up hurting yourself. (Whoever said stress is the feeling you get when you canât strangle someone who righteously deserves it was right on the money.)
Lately, Iâve been getting deeply, profoundly depressed, which is why Iâve been so silent. (Yes, post three on how to write short stories is on the way.)
So many things are winding up, itâs not even worth listing them all. The most proximal one, though, is the accusation against Kavanaugh, which, even if true, would not be in any way actionable nor, barring this behavior persisting into adulthood, mean anything about his character as a grown-up. High school has always been a weird and psychologically unstable part of anyoneâs growing up years, partly because weâre all learning the ropes of what âadultâ means, and partly because weâre isolated with other kids, also all learning the ropes. (Itâs not the best system, no.)
But this nonsense with the accusations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh â which, by the way, not only doesnât rise to âcredible,â itâs barely past the level of âinane ramblings of crazy woman on the cornerâ Â â Â is being given credibility and the Senate is bending over backward to give that crazy woman the chance to ramble at them. Any way she wants to.

âI cannot tell you that Hitler took Austria by tanks and guns; it would distort history.
If you remember the plot of the Sound of Music, the Von Trapp family escaped over the Alps rather than submit to the Nazis. Kitty wasnât so lucky. Her family chose to stay in her native Austria. She was 10 years old, but bright and aware. And she was watching.
âWe elected him by a landslide â 98 percent of the vote,â she recalls.
She wasnât old enough to vote in 1938 â approaching her 11th birthday. But she remembers.
âEveryone thinks that Hitler just rolled in with his tanks and took Austria by force.â
No so.
Hitler is welcomed to Austria
âIn 1938, Austria was in deep Depression. Nearly one-third of our workforce was unemployed. We had 25 percent inflation and 25 percent bank loan interest rates.
Farmers and business people were declaring bankruptcy daily. Young people were going from house to house begging for food. Not that they didnât want to work; there simply werenât any jobs.
âMy mother was a Christian woman and believed in helping people in need. Every day we cooked a big kettle of soup and baked bread to feed those poor, hungry people â about 30 daily.â
âWe looked to our neighbor on the north, Germany, where Hitler had been in power since 1933.â she recalls. âWe had been told that they didnât have unemployment or crime, and they had a high standard of living.
âNothing was ever said about persecution of any group â Jewish or otherwise. We were led to believe that everyone in Germany was happy. We wanted the same way of life in Austria. We were promised that a vote for Hitler would mean the end of unemployment and help for the family. Hitler also said that businesses would be assisted, and farmers would get their farms back.
âNinety-eight percent of the population voted to annex Austria to Germany and have Hitler for our ruler.
âWe were overjoyed,â remembers Kitty, âand for three days we danced in the streets and had candlelight parades. The new government opened up big field kitchens and everyone was fed.
âAfter the election, German officials were appointed, and, like a miracle, we suddenly had law and order. Three or four weeks later, everyone was employed. The government made sure that a lot of work was created through the Public Work Service.
âHitler decided we should have equal rights for women. Before this, it was a custom that married Austrian women did not work outside the home. An able-bodied husband would be looked down on if he couldnât support his family. Many women in the teaching profession were elated that they could retain the jobs they previously had been required to give up for marriage.
âThen we lost religious education for kids
âOur education was nationalized. I attended a very good public school.. The population was predominantly Catholic, so we had religion in our schools. The day we elected Hitler (March 13, 1938), I walked into my schoolroom to find the crucifix replaced by Hitlerâs picture hanging next to a Nazi flag. Our teacher, a very devout woman, stood up and told the class we wouldnât pray or have religion anymore. Instead, we sang âDeutschland, Deutschland, Uber Alles,â and had physical education.
âSunday became National Youth Day with compulsory attendance. Parents were not pleased about the sudden change in curriculum. They were told that if they did not send us, they would receive a stiff letter of warning the first time. The second time they would be fined the equivalent of $300, and the third time they would be subject to jail.â
And then things got worse.
âThe first two hours consisted of political indoctrination. The rest of the day we had sports. As time went along, we loved it. Oh, we had so much fun and got our sports equipment free.
âWe would go home and gleefully tell our parents about the wonderful time we had.
âMy mother was very unhappy,â remembers Kitty. âWhen the next term started, she took me out of public school and put me in a convent. I told her she couldnât do that and she told me that someday when I grew up, I would be grateful. There was a very good curriculum, but hardly any fun â no sports, and no political indoctrination.
âI hated it at first but felt I could tolerate it. Every once in a while, on holidays, I went home. I would go back to my old friends and ask what was going on and what they were doing.
âTheir loose lifestyle was very alarming to me. They lived without religion. By that time, unwed mothers were glorified for having a baby for Hitler.
âIt seemed strange to me that our society changed so suddenly. As time went along, I realized what a great deed my mother did so that I wasnât exposed to that kind of humanistic philosophy.
âIn 1939, the war started, and a food bank was established. All food was rationed and could only be purchased using food stamps. At the same time, a full-employment law was passed which meant if you didnât work, you didnât get a ration card, and, if you didnât have a card, you starved to death.
âWomen who stayed home to raise their families didnât have any marketable skills and often had to take jobs more suited for men.
âSoon after this, the draft was implemented.
âIt was compulsory for young people, male and female, to give one year to the labor corps,â remembers Kitty. âDuring the day, the girls worked on the farms, and at night they returned to their barracks for military training just like the boys.
âThey were trained to be anti-aircraft gunners and participated in the signal corps. After the labor corps, they were not discharged but were used in the front lines.
âWhen I go back to Austria to visit my family and friends, most of these women are emotional cripples because they just were not equipped to handle the horrors of combat.
âThree months before I turned 18, I was severely injured in an air raid attack. I nearly had a leg amputated, so I was spared having to go into the labor corps and into military service.
âWhen the mothers had to go out into the work force, the government immediately established child care centers.
âYou could take your children ages four weeks old to school age and leave them there around-the-clock, seven days a week, under the total care of the government.
âThe state raised a whole generation of children. There were no motherly women to take care of the children, just people highly trained in child psychology. By this time, no one talked about equal rights. We knew we had been had.
âBefore Hitler, we had very good medical care. Many American doctors trained at the University of Vienna..
âAfter Hitler, health care was socialized, free for everyone. Doctors were salaried by the government. The problem was, since it was free, the people were going to the doctors for everything.
âWhen the good doctor arrived at his office at 8 a.m., 40 people were already waiting and, at the same time, the hospitals were full.
âIf you needed elective surgery, you had to wait a year or two for your turn. There was no money for research as it was poured into socialized medicine. Research at the medical schools literally stopped, so the best doctors left Austria and emigrated to other countries.
âAs for healthcare, our tax rates went up to 80 percent of our income. Newlyweds immediately received a $1,000 loan from the government to establish a household. We had big programs for families.
âAll day care and education were free. High schools were taken over by the government and college tuition was subsidized. Everyone was entitled to free handouts, such as food stamps, clothing, and housing.
âWe had another agency designed to monitor business. My brother-in-law owned a restaurant that had square tables.
âGovernment officials told him he had to replace them with round tables because people might bump themselves on the corners. Then they said he had to have additional bathroom facilities. It was just a small dairy business with a snack bar. He couldnât meet all the demands.
âSoon, he went out of business. If the government owned the large businesses and not many small ones existed, it could be in control.
âWe had consumer protection, too
âWe were told how to shop and what to buy. Free enterprise was essentially abolished. We had a planning agency specially designed for farmers. The agents would go to the farms, count the livestock, and then tell the farmers what to produce, and how to produce it.
âIn 1944, I was a student teacher in a small village in the Alps. The villagers were surrounded by mountain passes which, in the winter, were closed off with snow, causing people to be isolated.
âSo people intermarried and offspring were sometimes retarded. When I arrived, I was told there were 15 mentally retarded adults, but they were all useful and did good manual work.
âI knew one, named Vincent, very well. He was a janitor of the school. One day I looked out the window and saw Vincent and others getting into a van.
âI asked my superior where they were going. She said to an institution where the State Health Department would teach them a trade, and to read and write. The families were required to sign papers with a little clause that they could not visit for 6 months.
âThey were told visits would interfere with the program and might cause homesickness.
âAs time passed, letters started to dribble back saying these people died a natural, merciful death. The villagers were not fooled. We suspected what was happening. Those people left in excellent physical health and all died within 6 months. We called this euthanasia.
âNext came gun registration. People were getting injured by guns. Hitler said that the real way to catch criminals (we still had a few) was by matching serial numbers on guns. Most citizens were law-abiding and dutifully marched to the police station to register their firearms. Not long afterwards, the police said that it was best for everyone to turn in their guns. The authorities already knew who had them, so it was futile not to comply voluntarily.
âNo more freedom of speech. Anyone who said something against the government was taken away. We knew many people who were arrested, not only Jews, but also priests and ministers who spoke up.
âTotalitarianism didnât come quickly, it took 5 years from 1938 until 1943, to realize full dictatorship in Austria. Had it happened overnight, my countrymen would have fought to the last breath. Instead, we had creeping gradualism. Now, our only weapons were broom handles. The whole idea sounds almost unbelievable that the state, little by little eroded our freedom.â
âThis is my eyewitness account.
âItâs true. Those of us who sailed past the Statue of Liberty came to a country of unbelievable freedom and opportunity.
âAmerica is truly is the greatest country in the world. âDonât let freedom slip away.
âAfter America, there is no place to go.â

If we donât learn from history, we WILL repeat it.
Do not let this happen again. Â And donât you dare say it canât.
not the exact speech, but a similar more detailed one here.
Her name is Kitty Werthmann.
Reblogging every time.
History is important to listen to so we donât make the same mistakes.
The Liberals will not rest until they have this here. They support ANITFA which is modeled exactly after a 1930 era Communist movement that started the Communist Revolution in Russia and tried the same in Germany at that time but Hitler took power himself instead of the Communists. Which would have been better is a moot point! Here, thanks to Liberals and the likes of ANTIFA, we are in danger of losing our rights. Our rights under the Bill of Rights, and our basic everyday right to even exist!
Funny how history always repeats itself and how the so called smart liberals donât see this happening now a bad thing
Iâm going to try to re-blog this every month.
Iâm off by 2 days.
Apologies.Â
Anything powerful enough to give you everything you think you need, is also powerful enough to take away everything you have. Evil doesnât have to ride in on armies anymore. True evil gets you to give up your freedom a little bit at a time. And it never stops until it has total control over every single aspect of your life. Remember that. Please, remember that.
Sounds Exzactly like what the libtards are trying to do here.
A must read.
If someone would condense this, with a link to the complete article, I bet more people would read it. And oh, how they need to! Kids: Socialism is not social justice and has nothing to do with it. Donât get confused.
Those that forget the past are doomed to repeat it
