Been literal years, and they ended the show together, and had plenty of moments since then

The renewal being so early was super suspicious

Which leads me to believe there's some type of cliffhanger and stuff that happens in the season that has them SO sure that people will keep watching that they didn't question renewing it

And so my brain jumped straight to garvez, supported by the comment about them in ep5

Completely illogical but I'm going with it, sue me

And not just insane chemistry between them, also the fact that they can both act their butts off AND their voices mesh so perfectly together. Tim truly struck gold with Josh and Sof. Truly insane how much the universe knew Rina needed to be a story told. Makes me emotional haha

Absolutely

Unsure what any of us did for the universe to give them to us but here we are and I'm not complaining

Whenever I think about it my mind is blown

Sometimes it'll randomly pop into my head that Tim didn't really have a plan for the show, relationship/endgame wise when he started, and I guess he just knew what he was doing for that season and maybe kinda where he wanted the characters to end up roughly

And then all it took was Joshua and Sofia doing one scene in a car, he saw their chemistry and went THIS IS WHERE WE ARE GOING PEOPLE

And decided a season 3 would end in them kissing

Just wild really

How did they even stumble on those two, like the sheer LUCK at casting them both (as far as I'm aware they didn't do a chemistry read together?)

Universe really wanted a great Ricky and Gina story I guess

Was Ricky crying about Gina leaving in S4 the first time they all collectively saw him breakdown and just be emotional in general? (Aside from Jet who Ricky could hide nothing from and who always called him out)

I can't really think of another time he was that open in front of everyone with his feelings

No wonder they all join him in singing to Gina, they could all see how much they loved each other

Side note - Jet absolutely would have made jokes to Ricky about him running in and being dramatic after she'd already said she was staying 'well dune if you were just on time for once'

Also aside from with EJ in 4x05, I mean like as a group, because I'm pretty sure the majority of them never saw him be that open with his feelings before

Because her attitude towards him 100% had to do with it and his attitude asking if she was going to show up for Gina at hsm3 didn't just come out of no where

I just know Ricky got sassy and protective over Gina and I need it

One of the biggest lies in season 4 is in the Halloween episode when Gina says she wants to kiss him and Ricky doesn't immediately get her to sneak away to kiss

Because let's be real, those two are too cute and excited and giddy about each other for her to be able to say that and then not immediately run away together to kiss for a bit

So are we thinking the first time Ricky started to realise he had feelings for Gina (post season2 break up) was when the boys were in Big Reds basement and Carlos mentions EJ and Gina?

I feel like he felt slight jealousy but maybe not realising that's what it was, and was a bit like ick why do I feel odd

In 4x08 Gina follows her dreams by getting a movie to stay in Salt Lake, instead of taking her far away, and follows her dreams of being with Ricky

Particularly HSM3 in night to remember, the pointing to his parents and knowing he won't lose his place or anything and it not effecting his performance 10/10
