This is coming from an autistic person, but my experiences are not the only thing I’m basing this on. Autism manifests as a wide array of behaviors, traits, etc., the combination and severity of which varies greatly between individuals. These are just the many traits I see in Kris that can fall under the autism umbrella.

I think there are possible analogies between Kris feeling alien because they are a human in monster community and autistic people feeling alien in neurotically society. I really like how “How to Care for a Human" book feels so similar to books about raising autistic children, which my parents used to read a lot.
