Leaf let a long yawn leave her lips. She’d been training in the mountains for what felt like ages. Pretty easy to lose track of time up there. Not like she exactly kept a desk calender or anything. It wasn't until she made it to the nearest city and laid eyes on the Valentines day decorations being taken down that it hit her.

deep breath

He sat across on the floor from her, watching as she sped through the notebook. When she got the designated pages he looked at each individual notebook, before picking up the middle notebook with interest.

He hums in thought.

❛ They ain’t bad, they need a little work though, but otherwise they’re nice plans. Ah know a guy who can get us the stuff we need. ❜

She scooted closer, and slung an arm around his shoulder. “Ain’t that why I got you, braniac?” If he had any objections to her blatant disregard for a possible personal bubble, she most definitely didn’t care. 

She cracked her knuckles with a wicked smile spread across her features. “A’ight so get a load of this,”  She plopped herself onto the floor and excitedly beckoned him to join her.

Six notebooks were splayed in front of him. Each one she flipped through with lightning speed and from the split second the pages were in view, it was obvious to tell that every corner of the paper was packed to the brim with neat and detailed notes.
