RECKLESS IS KIND OF MY BRAND

        wynonna huffs, wolf-like, and buries her face in remus’s shoulder, inhaling the scent of him so welcome and familiar she forgets that any time has passed. in these moments of not-quite-awake they could just as easily be resting in their little tent after a long night’s romp under the full moon—especially now, with her body still recovering from the nasty curse that’d almost killed her. 

        something had shifted in her that morning when she woke from yet another near-death experience to find him waiting at her side. that’s how wynonna ended up here, having crawled into remus’s bed while he slept, forgetting to worry about if he wanted her there or not, and melted into his side like the’d never been apart. it’s just good, and natural, and for a few blissful moments before the world stirs itself awake to start the day, wynonna feels…safe. 

       “don’move,” she mumbles, as if there’s any risk he might with her already half on top of him. “jus’stay…” there’s a soft hum as wynonna’s fingers curl into remus’s shirt, and she exhales a sigh, smiling against his neck. “…here.” she’s just so comfy, and this is hands down the nicest dream she’s had in a long, long time.
