Starting and growing a business can be challenging especially if you are trying to do this whilst still working your ‘usual’ job and/or being a mother also. It can also be a lonely endeavour in the age of Social Media we are in, but it doesn’t have to be. Now you’ve heard some of the struggles, sweep them to one side and go take some inspired action. Secluded and serene

Taking a holiday away from it all is medicine to the spirit ! Steve & I had planned an island holiday on the Great Barrier Reef for a year, first time it got cancelled by a family wedding, then the cyclone Debbie changed our original plan on Hook Island, we then discovered North West Island. A 6 hour barge ride across the open ocean with 25 to 30 knot winds, the waves bashed against the strong barge. It resulted to nausea for me ! Arriving at night to this secluded island was very adventurous, after community unloading of all. Campers gear, included tinny boats, the barge set off. Setting a tent up at night was not so difficult as the full moon was at our grace ! We loved every minute of this trip, surrounded by the exotic reef walls and colourful marine life. An adventure that has left a strong imprint on our camping adventure, definitely our favourite, so far !!!

Lifes a Garden

The Power of vulnerability I am doing the things I LOVE, the feeling of TRUST, FAITH, is a really big one, (FAITH), SURRENDER, to the MAGIC of the unknown.

This sweet Angel, was a delight to photograph, she was so naturally happy, so all I had to do was capture as she played.

The soul of the forest

Every time I use the camera for a photo shoot, I promise myself that it will be something that I haven't created before.

I do all types of photography for my business, but the most fulfilling one is the creative shoot.

Daisey, a local student, asked me to do a photoshoot for her, she is a very creative soul, she asked me that all she wanted was a non-posing photo-shoot, her words were, "I just want to be myself". I thought, what a wonderful spirit.

So I thought, mmm, she has a "hippie', spirit, let's start with the beach, to warm up, it was busy with people, that made her more nervous, but 30 mins into the photo shoot, she was more comfortable.

As the beach really wasn't speaking to her or I. I decided to move her into the forest, and at that time, the timing was perfect, the sun was rising.

We used a couple of props to symbolise who Daisey is,,, then she started to play.

In summary the forest was home for Daisey, she felt at ease and in tune so playing was a breeze.

Time evolving…..

commitment....is wonderful, it closes the gap of emptiness.....when you are in search of the love of your life, that will worship you as a goddess and worship him as your god,,,,,its a warming feeling of universal love,,, you love everything that exists.......the prayer to god went something like this:.........Dear God, i wish for a man that loves himself first, that will love me and my wonderful son like his own, to have a compassionate heart for all that exists, and on and on.........the image above is my husband, steve, this is after we got married ..... the contentment in my heart i feel radiates,,, through our being........the rainforest on the sunny coast permeates,,,,, so much beauty and joy .......thats all for sharing my love story for now....... continue to pray and then its all up to divine timing......all the best to the wonderful men and women searching for the love of their life..... acknowledging my life teacher, my beautiful wonderful son, his love is so in tact and it continues to snowball, i look forward to the day where he can share his heartfelt love to another being his potential female partner..........this existence is abundant, full of lessons and immense joy.........have a lovely day
